Better looking Weatherspoons than most and you get to sit with people with similar tastes in music if ya bobbing over to the O2 Academy. The girl behind the bar with fabulous leopard print haircut is a highlight.

Food served was cold. The Madras curry tasted of washing up liquid and the garlic bread was drowned in butter. The menu is old and tired and needs a revamp.

As a 70 year old and a 73 year old going into " Town" for a pint found door staff to be very pleasant and the bar staff are magic, ve

Not a drinker but use this place for lunch and the odd late breakfast when visiting Leeds. Has the option and space to sit out and is nice when weather allows. Staff friendly + pleasant. Place is nice + clean. Wraps have always been nice and hot chocolates are worth a try - if machines are working, terrible queues if theyre not !!

The service was good, however the food was subpar. I have given myself lockjaw due to the rubber, masquerading on my plate as an egg.

Food served luke warm. Tried to get a coffee several times and the milk had curdled, I advised the members of staff and they eventually got around to cleaning both machines at the same time which took well over an hour and was still ongoing after I left. No apology and no refund. Would be best to maybe clean one machine at a time and definitely not great that the milk had curdled.

Good Spoons overlooking Millennium Square. Came here for food before a gig on a Wednesday evening at the arena, as the two other Spoons nearer the arena had no seats available around 6pm.Thankfully we managed to get a table, despite this Spoons being busy and feeling a little cramped. We ordered through the app and both the drinks and food arrived quite quickly. We had chicken strips, the Christmas chicken burger and a portion of chips. Tasty and great value.

This place is pretty good and a nice venue but I'm writing this review more to complain about a member of staff who served us. Me and my girlfriend had just arrived and ordered two drinks to a table upstairs however, the pint I had ordered had run out so when the waitress (Australian accent, blonde hair) came over to let us know she just sort of didn't give me any context and said "what do you want?" To which I paused she then explained "instead of the abbot ale" so I ordered another pint and she left. Then when she came over with the drinks she stared at my girlfriend for an uncomfortable amount of time while holding our drinks then just said "thanks" I'm not sure what to maybe she was like waiting for my gf to put her phone down or somthing but it wasn't like she was looking at it or anything, we both then still said cheers to her to be polite but we were both rather wierded out by the whole interaction. Then finally, I ordered another pint and when she brought it over it was filled up with about 2cm gap to the top of the glass (I do understand she may have not poured it) but she did the same thing again but instead stared at me for an uncomfortably long time.I'm not sure whether they confused us for other people or whether they were upset just with our existence but either way it's not really okay.

Nice place, toilets didn't have 4500 steps to access them 👌 Pleasant staff both door and bar, and great atmosphere. Came to Leeds for shy fx at the o2 academy, this spoons was perfect for pre drinks sesh.

We only stopped off to kill time between bookings at different bars and got a bite to eat and a drink or two in, but for what it’s worth we couldn’t go wrong! Two pitchers of drinks, and the 3 sides deal to settle the ever turning stomachs went down a treat. Halloumi fries and chicken bites cooked perfectly, and sat outside where there is plenty of seating, water to hand and plenty of cover it was great for the short time we were there.
