This pub has been around for as long as I can remember (and that's more years than I'm preparrd to admit to).Last visit was after a Leeds home game snd while it was full of supporters, the atmosphere wasn't oppressive. They've plenty of choice at the bar and accept cash or card (as you'd expect) and the staff are friendly and efficient.

Very good friendly service. Excellent selection of ales. Nice and clean, my feet didn't stick to the floor when walking around. I will be back.

Booked to have dinner and watch the football. Seating was comfortable and great view of TV screen just wished the staff had turned the subtitles off for the match without being asked by customers first. Great staff in general. Helped my husband with some first aid. They were apologetic about lack of food options however there was only 4 vegetarian/vegan options pn the menu and 2 was not available. The dinner i had was awful. Battered halloumi and chips was greasy and bland, couldn't finish it. Couldn't even get my first choice of drink. In general the place is larger than it looks with plenty of toilet facilities even if they were a bit messy. Hoping just came on a bad day as these place with its lovely staff has great potential.

Popped in for a quick pint as we were a bit early for the next train. Very handy for the station. Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff. Quite a few folk drinking and dining. Very nice pub.

Not my usual haunt I normally go for a cosy pub however we were waiting for a train and had 3 hours to kill. We had heavy luggage and I just wanted to drink and not mess around with our bags so we ended up in the massive Griffin. The lady behind the bar gave us a lovely and friendly welcome the service was spot on. The beer is well kept and the whole place was immaculate in couldn't see any dust or mess anywhere, this is no mean feat and doesn't go unnoticed. It was very comfortable with tons of space. They do serve food but we didn't eat anything and they have a good variety of drinks and 3 minutes from the railway station 👌

Nice, friendly pub for a dinnertime. Acceptable food. Clean and tidy inside. Not far from the main shopping area of Leeds and close to the train station
