The Hedley Verity in Leeds

First time had been to this Wetherspoons in Leeds Centre..didn't know it existed. Was very impressed, much roomier than the others and more ideal for families. Will definitely be going there again

Service was great! Really kind and friendly staff! Food was appalling! The sheer size of my portion was shocking, actually thought it was a child's portion not worth the £7 I paid for sure. The chips was really bland and the bread bun was hard on the bottom of the burger. Asked a member of staff if the portion was right she indicated yes! Shocked!Really clean and tidy place and great atmosphere spoke to the manager, Craig who was very kind to offer a refund however refused due to finishing my meal. Thank you Craig

Absolutely beautiful building. Lots of nooks and crannies to sit in. cant wait to go back. Called in for food before going to the first direct arena. Only 5 minutes away... great place...

You will always find a seat. Also, very fast service from the minute you complete your order online. I think their prices are reasonable too.

Walked in & looked pleasant enough but, unfortunately very dirty tables and seating. Staff was attentive & friendly and enjoyed my lunch.I feel they need ro pay more attention to the look and state of the place also as hygiene should be also at the forefront of the establishment, especially where serving food as well as beverages.

Amazing always good prices I love there food amd plus drinks are cheap compared to other pubs

For drinks and a casual bar to hang out at? Sure, it's alright. Decent with their bingo events and whatnot. It's a good night out for after dinner.For food? Absolutely not.My burger bun was cold, and tasted like cardboard. My chips tasted like nothing. The only thing I liked was the burger, which doesn't really mean anything since it's a vegan Beyond Burger, so it came from packaging anyway.

Went down for a drink with one of my mates, got asked for ID (completely fine) and provided a pass card which they rejected because THEY couldn’t verify it with a machine. No refund. No apology. No attempt to rectify the situation, just sarcastic comments made by the staff and manager. Need some improvement on customer service and possibly a working machine? Terrible.

This is a nice pub. Had a mid morning breakfast that was excellent value and was well cooked. Tra and coffee and soft drinks on repeat when a meal is bought.

Came in with the kids before a show nearby for a bite to eat. Bit cramped as the upstairs was shut and downstairs was busy but still got seated.Half of the menu was unavailable but that could be wider supply chain issues (get used to that as capitalism slowly collapses).Staff were nice and obviously rushed off their feet!
