Been coming here since the day it first opened and still I keep coming back. Staff are fantastic very welcoming and friendly. Good choice of beer there is something for everyone. Food is great and smashing Sunday lunch with big Yorkshire puds. Large beer garden under cover throughout winter and then a great sun trap in summer. I highly recommend the lamb and flag to everyone.

Popped in for leisurely drinks and was excited at the variety of real ales. Was well advised by barman Toby who knew his ales even giving me tasters. We will come again for food next time.🙂

Had Sunday lunch, unfortunately oue choice of belly pork & cracking was a real disappointment 😞 fortunately having spoken with the proprietor he quickly brought out free drinks & the most succulent roast beef I have ever tasted. Well done, we will be definitely going back for food.

Incredible Sunday lunch and drinks selection!! Our waitress upstairs was friendly and fast. It was extremely busy so suggest booking a table. The upstairs restaurant was bustling but had a relaxed atmosphere

Popped in for a pint before heading out for food. I wish we'd gone an hour earlier to have a few. Good atmosphere, good selection of ales and drinks. Would happily go back.

Fantastic pub! The team hosted our group booking on the beautifully festive 1st floor with private bar for the evening, accompanied by top notch 3 course Christmas meals that were delicious and properly filled everyone up, exactly what we were looking for. The straight forward booking and menu choices setup, along with great communication from the team made it a dream to plan for 32 of us too. Definitely coming in again for dinner or drinks in the near future. Thanks!
