Nice clean pub great food and polite friendly staff.

What a fantastic pub! Visited yesterday with my daughter to take part in their music quiz. It is a lovely clean and cosy pub with well kept real ales reasonably priced.The staff are welcoming cheery people as is the Landlord. The clientele are also lovely, friendly people too.We had a brilliant time in the quiz (we didn't win 😄) and we will be back.Thank you for a truly enjoyable night out!**UPDATE** 06/03/2022Came back to try the food and they didn't disappoint. Top quality Sunday lunch for under £10. Keep it up 🙂

Tapas on a Wednesday this month has been amazing. £15 is an absolute bargain for the quality. Really good. Can't wait to see what they do next month!

Excellent pub with a superb pint of Timothy Taylors at a great price. The landlord Martin is a top bloke,both him & his lovely wife & their staff make you feel at home. Very clean & tidy with a great patio beer garden summer or winter the Marsh is a great pub.

Good clean proper pub that served tetley bitter , delightful and friendly staff ,will be back also sold proper pork scratchings

New owners have done wonders. Staff are very friendly and seem genuinely happy to help. Brisk and efficient table service in these covid times. Compared to Spoons it's a bit pricey but the beers especially the Landlord are always top quality.
