The Northern Monk Refectory & The Grub & Grog Shop in Leeds

Love love love their beer, especially Little Faith. It’s my favourite local beer in the whole of Leeds. Tap room is nice, if a little out of the way. Beer garden looks great for summer and it’s dog friendly!

Attentive and knowledgeable staff, a great range of in-house beers, collaborations and guest options. Add in their dog-friendly attitude, support for local developments and a rotating cast of wholesome food partnerships, and you've got a seriously appealing venue.

The beer and service is amazing. So many beers. Had chips which were amazing super Crispy finished with thyme and delicate spiced. Awesome.

Incredible place, such a great selection of drinks and always something new to try. Beautiful outdoor space in the sun and also really dog friendly. We had to try the tacos after a few pints and they were literally the best tacos in Leeds, my friend is from America and even he was impressed by the tacos here, which is saying something. Please give this place a try especially if you have a doggo.

Smaller than I expected so very pleased I went on a quiet night. Exceptional quality and variety of beers and the setting is great.

Huge choice of beers, had a delicious snack, food tasty and well cooked, quick service, staff knowledgeable and helpful.

Been coming here for many years and it’s still a special place.The taproom always has great beers on and the brewery visit is highly recommended.Had some amazing beers in my most recent visits.

Excellent selection of beers on tap here! From some of the core range all the way to their one off brews, if you enjoy craft beer then there will be something here for you. I did the tour which was fantastic, very knowledgeable in how the brewing process goes and the history behind how they used to operate alongside some very tasty beers. Only downside is that I do not live close enough!

We always stop at northern monk when in Leeds, fantastic beer selection and brilliant food available. The poutine is fantastic!

Great vegan food by chow chow vegan, huge portions, tasty and freshly made. We loved the stay chickn combo bowl especially delicious 😋
