"It's great to be back! Thank you for your ongoing support over the last year. A few things to consider before you visit: Booking is not essential, though we would recommend you book in advance. Outdoor service is limited to guests in groups of six or two households (no limit on number) is permitted. Please note we may need to vary our opening hours and food service times given the time of year and the unpredictable nature of our Great British weather! Track and trace requirements have changed meaning all guests over 16 years of age must check in and provide their contact details. Unfortunately we must refuse service if guests do not comply. We have always had family meals for our parents birthdays at the Old Hall, the food and service is always fantastic. Sadly Our dad passed away last month , We held his funeral here, at the pub he loved. George and his amazing team did him and our family proud. going above and beyond to make the day a special one for all that came to see dad off.

Brilliant pub,the food is really good and very reasonably priced…we recently had my dads wake at the old hall George and all the staff was absolutely brilliant it was a very busy day/night they handled it perfectly sorted all the food out on arrival then did a later warm variety of food which took a lot of pressure off us as a family knowing that George and his staff had every thing under control thank you all again for all your hard work ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a great Traditional pub this is with great ales and delicious food. George the pub land lord is very easy on the eye and I always appreciate the wink and smile from the lovely Lawrence. The free pool table is ironed daily to give it a ridiculously fast and true feel with different pool cues available for all abilities. I loved the fact that dogs were welcomed but once they opened their mouths I quickly moved to a different part of the pub to avoid the unnecessary ear ache. Thankfully the pub is exceptionally spacious so if you need to avoid any unpleasant people it’s quite easy to do so.

Great beer choice at a good price and the food menu is good too!All the staff are wonderfull, especially that lad called Lawrence.The place to go if you want to watch live sport accross different channels.Thanks Lawrence, all the very best.

Great pub. Fantastic mid-week offers on food and drink. Great for watching sports. Friendly staff. Family friendly, would definitely recommend.

09/11/21 Friendly locals pub with food. Serving 5 real ales from the extended Marstons pub list - on this visit Hobgoblin, Tetley, Bombardier, Jennings Wainwright & Ringwood Boon Doggle. In need of a refurbishment (allegedly due by the end of 2022). Dog & child friendly. Wheelchair accessible but no disabled facilities. Very handy location for shops etc. and local buses.

Staff are great, food was fantastic. Great selections of ales and the atmosphere was great. Had all football showing too!
