Great food great service fantastic pub all round

Fantastic food. Wish we'd chosen a quieter time to eat though as it was very noisy on Saturday evening with Rugby and Football on!

Been here before for food was great, but tonight with the service and attitude of manager won't be going again.

Great place great staff yet to try the food but all round good place

We went to the Podger on Saturday afternoon. The place was so well run. The head barman directing customers to tables. All the tables were meticulously cleaned before you sat down. The staff were very attentive and polite. Very reasonable prices for food and drink. We shall be visiting again.

We went for a xmas party last night 17 of us, the service was excellent as was the food, we couldnt fault anything and the 2 young ladies serving us did an excellent job their names were Katie and Lyndsay a big thank you girls from all of us

Lovely place, took mum for lunch, being a poor eater she opted for the over 60s 3 course menu of battered garlic mushrooms, scampi chips n peas followed by treacle pud n custard with a dollop of ice-cream, we had the mixed grill total bill £35 including a round of drinks. Friendly staff comfortable atmosphere, will definitely go again
