The Railway in Leeds

First time visiting here. The food was typical pub grub prepared to a very good standard. The service staff were friendly and attentive and made us feel very welcome. The prices were fairly reasonable and would definitely visit again.

Booked for a party of 15. The service was excellent, the waiting staff were very attentive and catered to every need regarding special measures for food intolerance, allergies etc.All the meals were served promptly and no one was left waiting.Everyone enjoyed their meals, all of which were hot, well presented and delicious. No one had any complaints about anything at all.Thank you so much!

We would like to say a huge "Thank you," to all the staff at the Railway Inn for making our parents' 60th wedding anniversary lunch a wonderful experience. The waiter service was fantastic and the food was of excellent quality. Everyone who attended had nothing but praise for the chef, the kitchen staff and front of house staff. Again,thank you very much for helping make such a wonderful memory for Ken and Ruth and their family.

We met with friends here for a meal out. A large group which can throw some restaurants, but no such problems here. The food and drinks order was taken well and everything came through as it should have done. The food was too quality too with clean plates all around.

Loved our visit, great food, friendly staff, really good food pub. Shame a couple of nesbits were seated near us who's language ruined the mood. Not the pubs fault. We will definitely go back.

6 of us visited yesterday to celebrate my husband and daughter's birthdays. Everyone of us chose a different dish and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I can be very picky with eating out but couldn't fault my meal - The steak was cooked just how I liked.The service was good -friendly staff. Will definitely be visiting again soon!

I like it here but why do kitchens run hot and cold ? Our meal wasn't brilliant this time a steak had to go back, the roast wasn't as good as normal, there didn't seem to be enough Staff, just a lot of silly little things mean I can only give it 3 stars this time. However, that doesn't mean I won't go back because I've had more 5 star meals here than 3 and every kitchen has an off night occasionally - we just got unlucky .Normally we get a lovely meal at a reasonable price, served by attentive staff and we have no complaints.

Sunday lunch...very busy. Brilliant fast service friendly staff and great food. Rather too much for most of us "wrinklies" so a smaller portion would be an idea to save waste. Would recommend to anyone.

Lovely food and awesome chilled atmosphere and great friendly service

Today was my first time visiting The Railway. It had been recommended by my friend’s parents.A friend and I had booked for mid afternoon for food and drinks. All the staff were friendly, polite and very good at their jobs. The menu is quite extensive and so it took us a while to decide as they all sounded lovely. The food was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. We couldn’t fault it at all and the portion sizes were generous.Lovely food, in a warm and welcoming place and excellent customer Service. I will definitely be returning.
