The Red Lion at Shadwell in Leeds

An excellent meal, great beer. Good prices. What more do you need! It does get busy so I would strongly advise booking, we were very lucky to get a table when we went without booking.

Live in SHadwell.but not been in for some time but after recent drinks and meal.wll.be returning soon. Could not fault the beer - wine food and service. Excellent value and the pub was both welcoming and spotless

Fantastic home-made grub, with a warm welcome! My request to vary the menu option with more veg was accommodated easily, and the food was just simply delicious. Excellent value too. Would heartily recommend a visit.

We eat here regularly and always sit at the same table in front of the bar. The food is fantastic, especially the hamburger, the service is great and the whole experience is great value. See you on our next visit.

After an extremely bad experience trying to get served at the Dexter, we headed for the Red Lion to be met with really friendly efficient service. The ales were in top condition and the sun shone, top notch, thank you.

Lovely quaint pub, food was delicious and staff was kind. Love meeting family here and having a good old matter! I like the choice of being able to buy a small portion or a larger portion, dessert are delicious too. Reasonable prices I will be returning.

Always welcoming, been coming for many years. Great to see a successful independent pub. Good pub food. Good beer. A great place to walk to. They now have plastic shoe covers so you don't feel guilty about muddy footwear!
