Absolutely wonderful local pub great for family meals sit at the side of the canal and enjoy the fantastic views, staff are a joy and very friendly.

Great traditional feeling pub with outstanding location next to the canal

Locals pub but I was with locals and they were friendly!😁 Loved the fact dogs were welcome and had a few impromptu cuddles with well behaved dogs. Drinks were good value too. It's not a posh pub, it has a "lived in" look but it is a comfy pub and wouldn't hesitate to call in next time I'm down there.

This is a local pub with a great presence. Just on the canal at the back and a good size outside area to the front X great atmosphere when busy but nice to sit and contemplate when quite.. friendly staff food looks good recommend

Went on a Friday night, warm evening so sat outside by the canal which was beautiful. Handpulled pint was perfect. I'm not a regular but me and my mate were made to feel really welcomed by the staff and the regular custom. Defo will be going down again

Brilliant pub that I've started to go in again. Lovely attentive staff, your drink is always no more than 5 minutes away. Really top atmosphere inside and out with outdoors front benches and at the back is the canal, which is breathtakingly good. All sorts of beers and lagers for every taste. A big thumbs up for this fab pub!!!

Popped in for a pint and ended up having probably the best pub lunch we've ever had! My partner had lasagne and I had a the Cajun halloumi ciabatta and both of us were impressed with the quality of the food. The chef was great, really attentive and you can tell he puts a lot of effort and thought into his cooking. Will definitely be coming back. 10/10 Would recommend

Lovely place to stop for a drink, cheap prices 1/2 pint of coke £1.25. Plus the garden area out the back is a great sun trap ☀️
