Very accommodating. Small menu but everything is enjoyable.. perhaps salting the children's portion of chips is something that should be up to the parents.

Fabulous building, relaxing craft evening with very welcoming staff. Only knocked a star off as difficult to get to at the moment with building works

Tried the new menu for lunch last week. Selected the Braised Ox-check on cornbread topped with a runny duck egg. Side order of chips with fennel salt. Well presented and chef certainly knows how to bring together flavours and seasoning to create awesome dishes. The staff create a friendly and relaxed welcome to enjoy the great food.

It's good. Been in several times since work relocated me to that neck of the woods.Decent outdoor seating area, good selection of booze, quality food. Bit more pricey than some similar places in Leeds, but you get what you pay for.***Update*** Foods nosedived since Covid. If the burger van is there don't bother. Rip off for a Very average burger and cheese slice.

Edit May 2021:The terrace has had an upgrade with a UV protected covering. Perfect for a summer drink in the sun or even a big roast dinner. It was our first meal out in ages and it was very covid-safe AND delicious! Will be going back again.Summer 2020:Lovely Sunday lunches are back on the menu. It was delectable as always. Make sure you book as it's quite busy and you might not find a table if you just walk through!

It was nice. I mean, like, it was in the middle of nowhere, just an old brewery in a car park. To be fair, the weather was miserable, so we were limited to one room. Tetley's cask was nice. Food was pretty good too. We had the croquettes. #delicious. We also had the Yorkshire pudding, and as Lancastrian visitor, I was surprised they're not called "local puddings" or "our puddings" ... They still call them Yorkshire Puddings. Wierd huh. Anyway, I would go again and have a proper look around.

Great food and service at a very good price. Covid secure measures were well implemented.

Lovely bar and setting, with good food menu and drinks selection. A little out of the way so always feels a bit more relaxed and spacious than other pubs
