Visited here on Christmas day for a meal. Staff were fantastic, they couldn't do enough for us. Food was fresh and tasty, even my daughter who is a fussy eater ate the roast potatoes which was a first. This was a first time we'd ever booked to go somewhere for Christmas dinner and we were not disappointed and can't wait to book again next year.

We had the Festive Fare at Traveller Rest and it was very nice. The food was delicious and very filling. The pub is very friendly as are the lovely staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The pub and staff are really welcoming and go out of their way to make sure everything is ok for their customers whether regulars or new customers. Will definitely be back again.

Excellent service and food as always, friendly staff who always make us feel very welcome. We came in Wednesday night for a meal which was very good. I had the chilli cheese burger and my partner had the topped chips and some chicken strips. Wednesday was quiz night which was interactive with lots of games and prizes (we will definitely be back again for this). The only thing i would change is i would have it closer to my house. Definitely recommend.

Delicious food as usual. My grandma really enjoyed the seniors menu and felt it was very good value. Bit of a shame the machine for soft drinks was broken but obviously can't be helped and still had bottles of pop to have instead

We visited here Christmas Eve for a family get together meal, we had pre-booked although I did have to make a few changes to the booking leading up to the meal (party numbers/food choices) but nothing was too much trouble. The food was fab and even though it was a busy day the staff could not do enough for you, especially Hollie :) x x

Fantastic Tribute night and meal The Tom Jones tribute looked and sounded the part. The Christmas meal was delicious and staff very helpful. A great night !
