Could've easily been a good meal but just lacked a few details. The place itself is nice and comfortable and the staff were friendly. I had a large carvery and my friends had a medium one. Apart from the size of the plate there was no difference in portions. The meat is carved by a member of staff and I got the same amount of meat as the people who got medium. There was plenty but the large didn't represent the price difference between the two.The plates were cold which made the food go cold quickly. The veg was scrappy not being much left - even at 6pm and the gravy wasn't the best. We ate everything but it wouldn't take much to make this a really good meal.

Fair enough I work here but I plan to come down for a carvery with the missus one evening. Food looks incredible and I've seen the effort they have put in to everything. The carvery is very reasonably priced for the quality of food you receive. Great atmosphere in a relaxing and brand new setting. Ideal outing for both families and couples.

Staff very nice and friendly carvery was lovely not dried out and plentiful . Great Yorkshire puds and choice of meats. Our choice of meat was between beef, pork and gammon well cooked.Toilets were very clean and large enough for a baby changing facility as well . Only thing it was upstairs in the building and if it hadn't been for a board outside on the pavement would've missed it . So glad I didn't .

So I've heard all the raving reviews. Got there, member of staff ignored me at the counter. Eventually served me.Went to get my breakfast, food bland, greasy Yorkshire pudding, small plates. All food crammed into one little area, only one toaster. Seating arrangements crammed, tea & coffee area down at one end,so not very safe when busy, over priced!!

Really poor experience eating here. The food was bland, underseasoned and looked like a school dinner. The beef was tough, the pork fatty and both were tasteless. For some reason garage music was playing in the background whilst music channels were playing on the TV on mute!? We were in and out in 15 mins and it cost us £30 - would never return

Went to wetherby carvery to night 5.O.clock food was not ready for people to eat had to wait for it to be put out. No milk for the coffee had to wait for my coffee till they went and bought some milk.was offered cream but did not want it. My granddaughter can not eat meat so got charged 10 95 for a plate of veg that was very poor then she waited ages for her gravey which they forgot about so had to go ask for it again.very disappointed.with the carvery today .was great first two visits

Had carvery. Beef was overcooked and veg was cold. Told that they were short staffed.Given 15% off voucher for next visit.Passed it on to someone else who may use it.Very disappointed.

Food is great and while you can always pick fault with anywhere, we got 3 meals for 2 today (mothers going free) and staff were always keen to help. Well done.

Well what can one say about the “new kid on the block” the first thing you see is not quite chaos but bordering on frankly disorganised, people queuing out of the door and being brought in in no sort of order just if a table was free.£20 for 2 dinners is about the norm so nothing surprising there but the tables are just so close together and crammed in, the layout is a complete mish-mash of taller tables for drinkers and ‘normal’ tables to eat food but the fact that to get people in they have you almost bumping into each other with your chair, reading other reviews I expected something a bit better, as for the food well what can go wrong with meat, potatoes and a selection of vegetables, staff who couldn’t find apple sauce when asked and advised there was none out, for pork to be served this is a must and is v.poor, even worse when we’d nearly finished and some of said product miraculously appeared, not sure I’ll return, the food was ok but only that nothing more, wetherby has plenty to offer that’s better.

Went there last month, food was nice and hot, not over cooked.6.95 for all you can eat breakfast with tea or coffee included, brilliant Will be back.
