The Woods in Leeds

A busy looking place but looks can be deceptive. It was not crowded so after finding a table, it was not long before we had our drinks. It seems there is both a table service as well as ordering from the bar. Free WiFi which works keeps you connected. The food is fairly standard. You cannot go wrong with a slice of pizza. The gents toilets were clean and well maintained. The whole atmosphere was relaxing.

Nice bar for a private function room on the top floor. With an outside area attached. Prices for drinks the usually for Leeds. Only one toilet for this area which is very close to the room. the smell was disgusting. So bring a peg with you or tell your company no.1s only. 😂😂

Avoid. We live locally and the pizzas are good here however the service is so poor that I cannot bring myself to spend any money in this place. The staff do not seem to care about the customers. On a previous visit we ordered drinks to the table and after 30 minutes the drinks had not arrived and no sign of any staff to enquire where drinks are. So we left feeling slightly annoyed at having waited so long.We have just risked a visit today to take the kids during half term for pizza and was told that kids are not allowed in during the day but we can sit outside. It was pretty cold outside so went somewhere else.

Great, bright multi level workplace with a broad range of changing beers and welcoming vibe. Just needs a more varied, changing and interesting range of food options, especially for gluten & dairy free and more substantial salads for a full 5 stars. Oh, and open in the morning for brunch.

Great place. The outside seating area is brilliant. Warm enough to sit there on the coldest nights and just a nice place to go. Will be back.

Arrived early afternoon with three young babies to be turned away because ‘babies are not allowed inside as they hold business meetings upstairs’?! And advised we were allowed to sit outside in the freezing cold when it was pouring with rain. Absolutely disgraceful.

Real wood fire, with live music inside 👌 outside seats that are sheltered with heat lamps and TV. They kindly had the rugby on so a top spot for watching the 6 nations👌 this bar had everything! There is a great selection of beer, excellent food, lovely atmosphere and helpful staff.

Cosy place to be, with a wood burner on, good food prepared by people that care about quality. Will be going again.

Good atmosphere, very beer and a top soundtrack, only reason not a 5 is that it's quite loud, but if you want a chat go elsewhere first . Recomended

Great place. Great quality food. Friendly service. Dog friendly. Reasonable priced.
