As you can tell from my previous reviews I love a good Toby carvery. If they are good I will say so if they are not I will definitely say so.This Toby has surpassed all the other ones up to now for a fantastic breakfast offering. There was no waiting for more fried eggs plenty were on offer. The sausages were perfect not hard & not overcooked. The toaster machine was placed nicely away from the main carvery so no one was holding a queue up waiting for their toast (unlike the Toby carvery near Center Parcs Sherwood Forest, please take note). They had a lovely breakfast at Yorkshire puddings available and they were not overcooked and they offered the breakfast gravy (which I feel at Toby carvery stopped offering). This would’ve been a 10 star recommendation if it was possible.

Disappointed on most recent visit. No gammon and no lamb. Isn't that partly why we pay more and go on a Sunday, because lamb isn't offered in the week. Beef chewy, carved with grain not across it so making it worse still. Otherwise enjoyed, although meat portions could be more consistent and a little bigger.

Was waiting to be seated a while. Staff just passed and ignored us. Waitress service could have been better. The food wasn't up to standard. Why would you put roast potatoes in gravy? Mashed potatoes were sloppy. Won't be going again.

Always a lovely place to eat, great value too. On our last visit, Steven, our server was very helpful and friendly. Only disappointment was the lack of mac and cheese. It's on some days and not others.

First time I visited with a friend for breakfast after only previously visiting for lunch. I was very impressed by the breakfast, it was beautiful. Friendly staff, food choices and quality of food was excellent. Everything was piping hot.Top Tip: Be sure, to try a breakfast Yorkshire pudding with breakfast gravy. It's divine.10/10 service, staff and food.

Lovely service and a really nice meal. Only reason I didn't 5 stars is that the roast spuds were really hard on outside but rest was spot on. One of girls working there even offered to open emergency exit so my mum, who has difficulty walking) could exit the restaurant without having to walk the long way round, which meant mum just virtually step out of restaurant and into the car.

My friend and myself stopped for dinner this afternoon, to say that the meal was sub standard, it was nearly cold, the beef was very fatty after being told it was very fine. If they call that good quality beef, then they need to up their standard. I wanted to call the manager back to our table after having our food heated up in the microwave, but my friend was adamant that she and I wouldn't go back again, she paid and left the building very unhappy.

Priced well and a choice of four meats which was nice just portion sizing was inconsistent from the people before and after me taking the same size plate. Food was not cold which is rare for a carvery I find. I wish I had taken her name but the girl behind the bar (wears glasses) was super pleasant and smiley and we were told of a 25min wait as we didn't book but were given a table within 10mins. Thank you

I wish I could give zero starsAbsolute joke ! No one minds a short wait for a booking but an hour plus with staff saying nothing about a wait when you arrive is not acceptable. Don’t take all these bookings if you can’t honour them . Absolute crush of people no seats or places to stand in bar . Staff milling around not clearing tables when other diners have left yet huge amount of people waiting to be seated . Rude staff . I watched the half hearted attempts at cleaning . Definitely no attempts to be covid secure . God help them when the Food hygiene inspectors next come to visit ! Avoid at all costs

Went for my 70th birthday with the family. I really enjoyed the food. Plenty of choice and the staff was lovely and sang happy birthday to me . Although it was really busy we didn't feel rushed. I will definitely go again
