Arrived early but were still shown to a table straight away (Table 7). Ordered drinks which were brought to the table as we went for our Carvery. Great selection of meats & vegetables. Excellent roasties in beef dripping with beautifully thick gravy - delicious! Waiter was excellent - courteous, patient & not pushy or trying to rush us. A very enjoyable dinner at Chapel Allerton - fully fuelled & couldn't eat another thing. Excellent value for money.

Great for greens, and the carvery itself. Slices of roast turkey, beef or gammon are a daily offering. You serve yourself to helpings if potatoes prepared in the oven grill, or steamed up or as a mash. Then the peas and slices of onions, try the red onions. There is a selection of gravy and sauces. These quickly fill up your plate but should be adequate before you get some dessert. Toby is able to offer a takeaway. But remember it also has a bar. You can have that bottomless soda or Coca-Cola or your favourite tipple. Great for families too.

Not been since pre lockdown and was pleasantly pleased at the pleasant service and the quality of the carvery veg. What used to be soggy, bland and overcooked is now the opposite. Only disappointment was the poor veggie gravy. Price was excellent for 9 of us, less than £15 per head including some puddings. Not all of us had room after the generous main courseFinally a special thanks for accommodating our bigger party at a busy time

Went for Breakfast this morning. It was the worst breakfast I have had for a long time. The food was over cooked, tasteless, and cold. We had to search the tomatoes and beans to get any just juice. when asked if there was fresh eggs was told they were coming, I had finished before any came. I think that at 9.30 on a Friday morning the quality of food should be far better that was offered today. It will be a while before I will return or recommend.

A nice place for a Sunday carvery and the price for two people with drinks was actually very reasonable. The staff were very friendly and attentive so we were made to feel comfortable and relaxed. It would be wise to make a booking for the Sunday meal although they appear to manage the time setting and service to not allow the place to be too crowded at any time or have patrons waiting too long to be seated. Even so, we weren't rushed to leave but there was a steady flow of diners, during my visit, as people left and tables were cleared and reset for new arrivals. We had make a booking but I noticed that they did their best to accommodate people who just dropped in for lunch without a booking. We had a really enjoyable meal.

Food here is great for the price, always come away full and happy. My mum is on a mobility scooter and the staff are accommodating and make room so she can go get her own plate at the carvery buffet, which is nice. There is a ramp in and a clean disabled toilet so accessible as well.

Spur of the moment work lunch. Typical Toby carvery fare, though special mention to the amazing dauphinoise potatoes that were just epic and worthy of a visit just for these alone! Usual selections that were all hot and plentiful. Shame there was no IPA or Pale Ale available at the bar. Service was swift, polite and friendly. Well worth a visit and definitely be returning.

Went for Christmas day dinner. Staff were super friendly, cheerful and helpful. The food was delicious and beers well kept. Thank you for making Christmas day a real treat.

First visit today and we went for the breakfast. Currently they offer breakfast Saturday & Sunday only due to staffing. To know they are short staffed during this Covid period you would not think it - all food was consistent with the Toby Breakfast, no short cuts. The pub is lovely and clean and the staff friendly and helpful (we explained we were new to the venue and the Toby team were very helpful).Looking forward to trying the Toby Carvery main event one evening. We shall definitely be back for breakfast.

I had a lovely meal at the Queens Arms. The price was good and the taste of the food was excellent. The portion size of the soup and mac and cheese was a little small however they are appetisers. The staff members were brilliant hosts and ensured everything was alright with our meals. The restaurant was clean and not too busy. You can book a table online as well to ensure you get a table and we used a birthday voucher which gave us £10 off £20.Overall very impressed with the service, food and all the staff.
