Good place for a drink and a bit to eat

Not a great choice unless you like real ale. Friendly efficient staff but bench seating uncomfortable

Lovely spot for comfortable food and friendly service. Great value. The pork & chorizo burger was absolutely amazing; so delicious. Would definitely drop in if looking for somewhere for some lunch while in Horsforth

Popped in by chance for Sunday dinner.Dinner was nice very hot, a little bland for my taste! But still managed to finish it.Advertised free pudding but wasnt offered one?Dog friendly which is good for future reference.Would definatley try again.

A smashing place. Very good choice of drinks. A little up market but not too expensive. Lovely atmosphere. Toilets are down a flight of steps into the basement.

A pleasant, quiet, unassuming pub with great staff and a nice selection of beers on tap.

Liked the atmosphere but on a Sunday afternoon you usually go for a drink and no drink menu exists. The waitress did a good job of telling us what they have available.

Not a hugely extensive menu, but food was very nice. Looks cosier from the outside than it feels inside, some soft furnishings would make it feel a bit more welcoming. Chocolate and orange tart was delicious!!

Used to love this place. Used to be a unique pub with different beers. Recent visit wasn't that cracking. Ok beer, but the pub didn't look the cleanest and weird smell. Not in a hurry to return, plenty of other pubs around that offer the same now but with a cleaner feel. Shame really but when it's expensive now to go for a beer out, it needs to be good.

Excellent choice of beers (real beer!) from local breweries and really good food sourced from local farmers. Can highly recommend the chicken and duck pie, and the bacon and brie melt on ciabatta. The Bar staff very friendly, really nice atmosphere, well decorated inside, oh and dogs are welcome too! I can't wait to go back :-)
