Vesper Gate Sizzling Pubs in Leeds

Service slow, food was not taste, kids menu wasn't great nor was the healthy menu option no salad no jacket Potato.Found that very strange

Nice pub and decent pint. Had some good food offers on too. Really close to Kirkstall Abbey just a walk away. Worth a visit for a pint and something to eat. Staff friendly and you can sit in the beer garden

Nice atmosphere and plenty of space. Good selections at the bar too

Awful food. Burnt pie, microwaved rubbery mash potato reminiscent of school dinners. Poor quality and overpriced. The decor is dated and is in desperate need of a refurb. Staff were friendly hence the 2 stars and not 1

I ordered a southern fried chicken platter off the app, was given a meal that was missing several ingredients, no corn on the cob, no gravy etc. Unfortunately I only realised after I'd eaten, but when I complained I received no apology or even sympathy, instead I was just told that the app is a load of lies. Everything else was great but that was disgusting customer service.EDIT: Did get a subsequent apology and offer of a free drink, so changing to 3 star

Lovely sat outside and can get table service. Menu is limited so end up with lot of ice in soft drinks as no option to have no ice. Payment on app also frustrating as have to input card details each time for each order. 💳🔃 Kitchen was not open again so no option for meals or hot food. Nice pub, lovely location but would benefit more if food was available

Great bar staff! Very poor management. Extremely Overpriced drinks, low drink variation and availability on app. Non existent management-worry about the staff! Where’s a Weatherspoon’s when you need one. Someone needs to take over this beautiful building and turn it into the pub it once was.

Seating outside is excellent & safely distanced. Table service was running (as well as track & trace) and was served quickly. The gentleman who served us was nice & friendly, the drinks were excellent and it's definitely a place I can recommend to others.

We all really enjoyed the food 🤗 there were 8 of us and they looked after us very well2 of our group are dairy free and they went out of their way to accommodate 🤗we will all be visiting there again 😊Thank you staff at the vesper gate 💖
