Vodka Revolution Bar, Leeds in Leeds

Stopped off for a few drinks and bar snacks after just arriving in Leeds.The staff ( guy with blue hair, sorry didn't catch name) was really friendly & helpful when I had to check something about the food. Thank you 😁Prices for food and drinks same as elsewhere (e.g. 2 coronas =£10, 2 expresso martinis = £10.Mac & cheese was very nice.

Do you have Guinness, No. Do you have any stout, No. Do you have any bitter, No. Can we have the Camden Pale Ale, no, it isn't on. So what do you have, Lager. Ended up drinking red wine that had an aftertaste. OK for atmosphere, rubbish for drinks.

We booked the cocktail masterclass 6 months in advance for a friend's hen do....which was £45 a head, and included food, thd day before, revolution informed us thd kitchen was closed due to covid, so no food would be available and no refund would be offered. On taking the cocktail masterclass, we were informed that the kitchen had actually been closed for 3 months.Revolution could of informed us sooner, regards thd kitchen closure, so we could of decided what to do, offered us a part refund for the food, or organised a alternative regards food, after all they are based in Leeds City centre, surrounded by restaurants, as a group we felt cheated, between us the masterclass cost £900, with not even a bar snack in site!

Nice drinks, sometimes nice bar staff, getting student discount is like trekking up mount Everest and your left to die at the top. The DJ in the evening is absolutely horrific playing tunes for a year 8 school trip back of the bus vibe. Don’t expect to get up and boogie because its dead

I was very disappointed with my visit here today. Our group was knocked back because of my footwear. That's fine, I understand certain places may have a dress code or can turn away anyone at their discretion and I dont really care about that as a whole. However; we were knocked back my wife went to the door supervisor and explained that I had a medical condition which required me to wear a particular type of footwear. The door supervisor asked me if I had a medical card, I explained that I didnt know what that was but if he was asking to show proof of my disability then I have lots of evidence I can show him. He again asked me for a medical card. I said to him I don't have one and dont know what it is (pretty sure it's not even a thing), he told me that if I didnt have one I wasnt coming in. Again, not all that fussed, I wont lose no sleep over it. What really concerns me is that I was asked to prove I have a disability, I was knocked back essentially because of my mobility aids (which were my footwear) as they were not venue appropriate and this is no different to refusing entry to a wheelchair user or someone who may walk with a stick or crutches or require some other mobility aid. I'm quite thick skinned and tbh wouldnt have even tried to explain myself to the door supervisors as Id rather not share my personal life with someone I dont know but overall I think it's important that something is said. It is disgusting behaviour, it was degrading to be knocked back because you have a medical condition and require certain footwear to support with walking. This is 2021 and not every disability is clearly visible but yet people with conditions are discriminated against by small minded people who have no real understanding of their own job role and what it means to be a good door supervisor. (FYI - I worked security including SIA door work for over 10 years so I know exactly what the approach should be). Disappointing to say the least.

There’s one bouncer that just seem to let he’s power get over he’s head when letting people in on a night out nothing but rude to peopleWe been queuing for while only to get refused entry at the premises because one my friends questioned the bouncer why they where charging £10 entry and he’s response was your not coming in now whiles giving us a dirty lookI won’t bother coming back to this place until this nasty person gets fired

first time I've had a bottomless brunch here and it was fantastic. such good value for money. the food was lovely and the drinks kept flowing. Leanne, our host, was absolute fantastic. will definitely go again

This was a random Friday afternoon bar to pop into (and we were not disappointed) The cocktails were on 2-4-1 and after joining the Revolution club it instantly offers 20% off drinks and food. We ordered food and it was really fast, and was delicious. The staff were attentive and helpful. They even came around with free mini pizza and Long Island cocktails. It’s worth a visit and I will go back again soon. Keep up the good work guys 😁
