Waterstones and Costa Cafe in Leeds

Only used cafe. Internet was down but staff organised, took payments later when net back on. Very friendly and helpful. Good choice of drinks and snacks, inc. vegan for my daughter. Area and tables kept cleared and clean.

Nice big spacious Waterstones. Lovely cafe for a quick refreshment with a friend, and then a good bimble through the shelves. Not too crowded, but queues at the checkout were reasonably long.

Great place for travel books was busy at the time off visit and was good to see alot of people in there shopping and browsing and using the cafe

Went to buy a few books the other day and when I got home I was incredibly disappointed and annoyed to find out that the cover of one of the books that had been in between two others was had been folded over and almost ripped. Genuinely surprised that Waterstones would hire someone with such disrespect towards books.

The widest range of books found in store. Got all my children's school textbooks. Had the privilege of also picking 2 novels, one for myself and the other for my wife.

One of the best bookstores with massive selection of books and well arranged. It has a cafè with an amazing ambience.

If you like books, then Waterstones is the place to go. They have an incredible selection of books spanning most genres. Worthwhile taking your time and having a good browse. I docked a star because I recognise you can often buy books cheaper online. Then I added it back because they have a great cafe. But there's a tension because I think it's important to support High Street shops.

Best place for 40k stuff, the store is well stock for what I may need and the staff is friendly and welcoming. while I love spending money here I never feel pressured to buy something like other game stores do. If you need Warhammer fantasy or 40k this is the only real option.

Best book shop. Even if they had no what I wanted to buy they ordered quickly. Very friendly staff

Was looking for a book, unfortunately they didn't have it. But they were so lovely and helped me look for it. Lovely guy with the most beautiful nails in there, oh my god! Thank you so much! Really welcoming and lovely guy!
