Had a great time taking River Dancer out last week. We had intended to go north on the L&L, but instead went south on the Aire & Calder main line as far as Brighouse. A wonderful week's holiday with beautiful scenery and some nice overnight stops. The team at White Rose were all excellent, I couldn't fault anything!

Just returned from our first narrowboating experience with White Rose. It most definitely won't be our last.Everyone at White Rose are brilliant and very helpful.A special mention has to go out to Sue, Helen, and most of all John our Skipper. His tuition was second to none. He made us feel at ease and at the end, confident in what we were doing. He was at the end of the phone if we needed him.Everything ran really smoothly and the experience was absolutely brilliant.No WiFi, a slower pace of life....just what we needed.The weather was rubbish, but it didn't make one bit of difference.If you are thinking about trying it, don't think anymore...just do it. You won't regret booking with White Rose.Thankyou once again, and we hope to see you all again very soon.But could we try it with some sunshine next time.Katie & Jez Salt

Just finished our honeymoon on board “the Emily “ couldn’t of wished for better... everyone was fantastic from start to finish, the barge was beautiful, and training and communication was brilliant... all the staff were really helpful and easy going... we’ve already highly recommended WhiteRose to our friends.... will definitely be booking again next year

My husband and I have just returned after a thoroughly enjoyable 4 night stay aboard Emily. Martyn and Carole could not have been more informative, helpful and accommodating. The boat has everything you need including an unusually spacious bedroom for a Narrowboat with a comfy bed.The boat is easy to handle as featured in the advert.In summary great holiday, excellent service would definitely book again.

Myself and my partner had an utterly amazing holiday with White Rose on the wonderful Emily. It was our first canal holiday and we were a little worried about locks and such but Martyn was fantastic and gave us an in-depth lesson and took away any worries we had. Already booked again for next year!

I recently spent a week aboard the narrowboat Emily and I was very pleased with the boat. The owners were very helpful and pleasant.I've got a lot of boating experience but I'd never been on a narrowboat before and with their help I settled in very quickly.The route up the Leeds & Liverpool Canal is lovely, with a great mixture of countryside and old industrial relics along the way.I stayed on Emily over Christmas and I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable she was, even in freezing conditions. I'd love to come back and see more of the route in the summer.
