Wood Hall in Leeds

Absolutely stunning location. Truly peaceful and quiet. The view us uninterrupted and there's no noise pollution. Seating is inside or out. Plenty of parking on site. Staff are friendly and obliging. It could easily rate 5 stars but 1 star has to be deducted because internally it needs a lick of paint, new carpets and new furniture to bring it up to a more modern standard even if they do that from a traditional point of view. It is clean. It's just a bit tired looking. The location has so much potential.Either way I'd recommended a visit.

Stayed one night as a date night.Beautiful hotel, fantastic service throughout our stay, jade and Nikki on reception we’re excellent upon arrival would 100% recommend to anyone.

Traditional beautifully extended old hall in scenic setting, service was mainly good if a bit lax in places, good if not super exciting dining. Nice walks nearby. Didn't use spa will try it next time

This is a lovely hotel and set in a very tranquil location. Lots of original features and well decorated. The room we were given was on the first floor, was very spacious and clean. On the downside, the bathroom was dated and could do with updating. Also the toilet did not flush properly so could be rather embarrassing.The bar area has a reasonable selection of beers and spirits, and the food in the evening and morning were good, however the young lady serving in the bar did seem somewhat easily distracted and meant a long wait at the bar while she chatted to other guests. At one point said guest actually pointed out we were waiting.Spa and pool are adequate and the staff were very attentive.Overall I would return and hopefully some upgrades will be carried out soon.

Food and service always first rate. Love coming here to see and look at the stunning views with a glass of wine. One of the best hotel locations in Yorkshire, if not the country.

One of our favourite hotels in the handpicked hotels group. Rooms are well appointed, pool and spa attached, and restaurant charming. Set well out in the countryside but not far from Wetherby and a good base for exploring York and Yorkshire. Easily accessible from M1 & A1.

Stayed here for one night. All staff, every single one that we encountered were extremely polite and helpful. The staff really made this stay this little bit extra special. The hotel is in lovely grounds and there is plenty of parking. The decor of the room we stayed in was in keeping with the house although a little tired. The food was very nice and we would definitely eat and stay here again.
