Woodside Fisheries in Leeds

Went there with my cuz John fish n chips before driving to see family in Teesside. Hadn't been in for bout 15 years. New owners n It's a bit more modern but the service, staff attitude and quality of food hadn't changed. Fish superb n decent proper chips that had been cut to cook like real chips. Really enjoyed them sat in the car out of the paper. Marvelous. Curry sauce luvly too

Absolutely fantastic scampi. Made to order with fresh shrimp and it tastes lovely! Wait times are not too long and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend this fish shop!

Lovely Chunky fish cooked to order chips were a bit scrappy but got Chunky ones mixed in, quite big portions so made up for it

Excellent,steve n his missus and staff are really nice,scollops sometimes greasy,but overall one of the best chippys around,steak pie is so nice,pls dont cheapen it n spoil a lovely eat

Usually good, but I timed it wrong I think. Chips greasy and lukewarm, as was the fish, which was a bit chewy and dry. It had been kept warm for quite a while, I think. Still their usual generous portions, though, and the staff, especially the chef are chatty!

This place is my fav in UK! The batter on fish is awesome. The chips are perfect. Friendly service an all .. you can get bigger portions elsewhere but this is the quality portion. Great selection of drinks to go with it too.
