Zizzi - Leeds The Light in Leeds

I had a very tasty lunch here with calzones, gluten free pizzas, and drinks. The service was friendly and the ambiance welcoming. The location at "The Light" makes it more enjoyable still.

A very tasty meal enjoyed at Zizzi. The starter was delicious and we couldn't believe the size of our pizzas. Pudding was squeezed in and was worth fitting in. A beautiful restaurant with very good service and decent prices too. I'll definitely be returning but won't over order as I didn't eat again until the next day after eating at lunchtime. Well done Zizzi!

We had a really bad experience in September when we went for my birthday.The service was very very slow, one of the party didn’t get a side until we had all finished our meal, i got my meal 15 mins after everyone else and the assistant manager or manager was an horrendous person.With the service we received we couldn’t justify paying them 10% of the total bill incurred for a table of 8, so we asked for it to be taken off… when he returned with the updated bill he loudly announced the new bill minus the staff tip…. drawing the attention of almost the entire restaurant to our tables request.Fast forward almost 7 months and my partner decided to give this place the benefit of the doubt and take myself, my daughter and my mother in law out of for mother’s day…. sadly absolutely nothing has changed in terms of service…..It was super slow again….we waited 50mins between our starter & main, when the lasagnes came out they were burnt and the pasta burnt to the side of the bowl and we had to uncomfortably witness the chefs being extremely rude to other members of staff.There was no updates from the staff in the 50 minute wait and we had to chase the food up in the end.I will absolutely never eat here again it’s really gone down hill and no longer a pleasant place to eat.On the plus side we didn’t have to deal with the bad manager from September.

Great service. Great Food.I dont often write reviews but felt the need to congratulate the staff on their customer service and delicious food. Its a long time since we have been to Zizzi's and our recent visit was planned after receiving Birthday discount codes online. We were seated swiftly and our order was taken without rushing. Our started was delayed but our waitress was quick to explain and apologise without any prompting. A second waitress came to apologise and a 3rd adjusted our drinks bill to reflect the delay.(we were only talking 30 minutes ish) You can't say fairer than that !The food was excellent and well presented. Altogether a really good experience.Thank you

I just want to praise waitresses for their hard work at the busy Tuesday evening. They were busy bees running around and made it right when kitchen lost our order and we had to wait for our food. However, when you see manager on the shift is in the kitchen helping out - things are bad.Short staffed, food is bland and tasteless and utterly disgusting man toilets with brown drips and lines all over it. I mean I was in much cleaner toilets at the service stations in middle of nowhere.. Whole place is dated and looks sad. Heads up for management team to sort it out.

Super Service and Tasty Meal and Dessert. Though as a Nigerian, I was taken aback by the portion of the Spaghetti Bolognese. 😂

The vanilla ice cream was so delish and the Rustica Sophia (pizza) is so good. Customer service is top notch

Me and my partner came on Valentines Day, and we had a great time. The place was fully booked, and despite this, the staff were so friendly. Polly, our server, was so apologetic for things taking a little longer than expected, but none of the staff had anything to apologise for, they all looked as though they were working extremely hard, and rushed off their feet - and were still doing an excellent job. The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly.

Absolute Garbage, Staff were so busy trying to pack the place out they were forgetting to serve seated customers. Waited 20 mins for a drink that was ordered and then only received half our food order. Repeatedly tried to get staffs attention just to be continuesly ignored. Food was okay but nothing special. Save yourself some time and energy, just pop round the corner to McDonald's! Definitely wouldn't recommend....

Eating out alone can be awkward especially in city you don't really know, so Zizzi it is! Staff were great, really friendly and attentive. Food took about 45mins from ordering to arriving, however a member of the team noticed I had been waiting, chased up the order and offered a complimentary drink while I waited. The food was good though when it arrived 😋
