Favourite place for coffee and muffins. Claire (the manager ) and all of the staff are always pleasant, welcoming and efficient. Beats the other coffee shops hands down.

Situated in the middle of the precinct so very convenient for shoppers. Clean, efficient service

What has gone wrong??! I haven't been in for ages, so I thought it would be nice to have a coffee and cake there on Sat... How things have changed. 3 young people serving, not one knew how to smile, say hello or thank you. I took my coffee to the table, opened the lid, no froth on a cappuccino? I took it back to check (politely) if it was incorrect to be told "Oat milk doesn't froth" I explained politely that it does in Starbucks and Costa, the young man said very loudly "No it doesn't"! three times! Rude!! I will not be going back until a staff change!

Haven’t been to BBs in a few years so though I would return to see the new menu. What’s happened to service with a smile?? Spent £10 and didn’t get a thankyou. When he brought over the drinks we both thanked him and he didn’t even look at us. When my boyfriend said he asked for an americano and not a flat white, he made it and then handed it to us with a glare. Extremely rude member of staff which is a shame because the rest of the team were polite and friendly. Also the trays where our food was looked very old??!

Came here earlier today with a friend amazing tea hot chocolate and two gorgeous cameline cream cakes a little expensive but my god delicious loved the cafe so much coming back here soon to this cafe. Excellent staff excellent service clean well maintained cafe tidy lovely area to sit back and relax

Usually brilliant in here me and my mum love to get a cold mocha, so ordered one yesterday and was with massive cubes of ice thin texture and lack of taste, I told staff member and she did me another still tasted awful ,but I'm giving 4 star's as usually they are no problem's.

Amazing muffins, staff are always friendly and polite when we come here, it is the ultimate stop of point before we start our shopping, sometimes my wife just makes up an excuse to go to Freshney Place, just so she can go for a coffee and muffin.There's always a good selection of muffins on offer with specials appearing through each season. Comfortable seating area either towards the back where it's nice and cool or if you want they have an extended seating area into the centre of the mall under the glass roof and when the sun is shining it adds that bit of warmth, plenty of room to manoeuvre a pram if you've got the little ones in tow.The decor is subtle and shows some of the history of Grimsby and how it's believed how the town got its name. Overall fantastic place. Hense why we always go back.

Absolutely the best cafe in Freshney Place. Tasty coffee. Superb staff. Food pretty good.. but not too healthy! A really good place to sit and watch the world go by... or an excellent meeting place. The muffins are varied and most weeks there is a new invention! Well worth a visit. A loyalty card scheme operates and you soon get a free coffee!
