Superb food, same owners for years always a warm welcome

It's strange to me having seen 2 very negative reviews. I've always found their food of excellent standard and am not big on reviewing anything on the internet at all, not even my Amazon or eBay purchases.Based on my comments I hope it encourages people to buy from this Chinese Takeaway establishment. It's always been adequate staff, excellent food and reasonable waiting time for food to be ready, nice and hot!

Massively disappointed the food is all recooked frozen meats,packet sauce mixes. Sorry but there is absolutely no pride in there cooking or any care given to what they serve you try them at your own peril

Wah and Tracy are back to Golden Phoenix, lets go get the delicious meal!

it's ok as Chinese go

Ordered tonight for birthday celebrations with whole family, everyone had been eating sweet and sour chicken balls. To find out they must have all be raw when cutting the left overs in half after everyone had said they didn't taste very nice! Hoping no one gets food poisoning.

Ordered takeaway was very prompt & must say it's the best that we have had from anywhere will deffo use again when in cleethorpes, only wish you could deliver to Goldthorpe near Barnsley.

Always used this takeaway. Lovely staff, never had a bad meal. Used for many years. Great choice too
