Sunday lunch was awful maybe due to a wedding event being on but as the restaurant was nearly empty says it all. Meat extremely tough, roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings we could hardly cut nor eat and the vegetables nearly raw. Also all food was cold. Worst roast dinner we have ever had. Used to come here quite often but never again!

Came here to a formal event. Lovely venue , very pretty and ideal for our event.Cant say the staff were particularly helpful or friendly- they mostly stayed completely clear of us unless clearing plates. The food was ok- nothing to write home about with the exception of the brownie which was divine! Beef was chewy and gravy was a non entity.All in all a good time for the event.I'd imagine that the restaurant would be lovely. It looked popular

Served steak that was off. Not offered a refund on the whole meal, just the steak that was off. No free drinks or anything to try and compensate. Awful attitude from the young lady who threw my bank card on the table and walked away with an attitude when we gave honest feedback. Still paid £40 after all that as well when I wish I had refused to pay a penny after an awful experience and meal like that. Also cost them a wedding as we were planning on getting married there, not anymore unfortunately.

Stayed here last Monday. Peaceful location with fields all around to walk in before dinner. Good food , stylish and clean room, excellent service and a relaxed atmosphere. We considered driving all the way back here for a second night on our tour of Lincolnshire, given how happy we were !

nice rooms but need touching up. Restaurant needs proper experienced staff, At dinner 2 young girls rushing our order for drinks and then just stood chatting or on there phones or just lent against the bar not a good look im afraid.Breakfast cereal now in unmarked containers not the usual individual boxes so dont now what brand you are getting? this is probably cost cutting.Also at breakfast i got cold under toasted toast then when asked for hot toast it still came under toasted, when mentioned the man serving said the toaster very slow and not very good. The usual friendly receptionist was not there ?, reception now looked after by the woman owner who just said oh dear and laughed when i told her about my breakfast complaint.This place is nice but over priced so look around as there are better more reasonable priced places around and more friendly as we have found on our travels .
