Great fish and chips, friendly staff, great value.

Staying local and fancied a fish and chips so went here. Owner and staff were as unwelcoming as could be, got in there and the owner was too busy chatting to his mate, when we eventually got served we were told it would be a 5 minute wait - it was actually more like a 15 minute wait for overcooked and greasy fish and chips. Truly don’t understand how they have so many good reviews - AVOID

The blokes a right misery rude person undercooked chips small portions and using his fingers to put the sausages on the paper when the other member of staff used tongs then had to wait for the curry sauce to be microwaved

Great Chippy with friendly staff. Fish cooked to order. Drive to Scartho with ours and it’s still really hot

Great tasting fish and chips. Open Tues thru Saturday lunchtimes and evenings till 8pm. If you want a large piece of fish or scampi may have to wait whilst it is cooked to order but service is usually fast. Off road parking in front of shop.

Over priced and small portions. After reading the reviews we tried a fish cake as they were surposed to be the best fish cakes around... these were full of more potato then fish.

We are on holiday staying at golf club in a lodge. We really wanted a nice finish and chips. Found this on lineThe chips and large fish were absolutely delicious I also had a fish cake it's the best fish cake Ive ever had. If we stay in the area again we will definitely be back⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Micks place is one of 4 local Fish and Chip shops I use on a regular basis depending on day of week or journey location. At Micks it is lovely quality Fish and Chips, the only fault is the portion sizes, even the large portions at Mick's Place are, at best, equivalent to a medium size to anywhere else I regularly frequent and the smaller sizes are even worse. Would I still recommend Mick's Place? Yes I would but be ready to maybe buy an extra bag of chips to top up the portion size.
