Ocean Fish Bar in North East Lincolnshire

Clean and tidy. Friendly, helpful staff. Food arrived quickly and was hot everyone enjoyed their meal. I ordered skinless gridded haddock. I expected the fish to be plain but had a 'griddle seasoning' on it, which I wasn't expecting as not mentioned on menu, that I saw. Would stop me eating here again, would just ask for it without griddle seasoning as was was a strong favouring.

Brilliant, My sister, son and myself went yesterday. What a refreshing change, to be served by confident kind staff with real personality.Food was quick and perfect.Keep up the good work. 👍We are heading Back to expensive poor food served by miserable staff in Devon 😟

After waiting over 30 mins, they got my order wrong, I asked for a unbattered sausage but gave me battered. Not enough salt and vinegar on my chips and a lot of the chips were hard/undercooked. Not a good first experience

Lovely food and service the portions have got alot smaller than what they use to be but if you want a good tasty meal heres your place.

Stopped off for lunch today. Was very busy, but they managed to find us a table after a 5 minute wait. Ordered haddock and chips twice one in batter one poached. Quality very good, but portion on the smaller side. At £10 each good value. Service from all staff excellent. Nice environment. Recommendations one make a reservation, two if you have big appetite order the large fish.

Love the place, jumbo Haddock really tasty although the size has diminished compared to how it was before. Still very very tasty, always go there if I'm in the area. Nice staff, always made welcome, highly recommend.

The hidden gem of Grimsby. Forget the fancy fish place on the waterfront - this place has the better food. Wonderful fish: crispy batter, soft flaky flesh. Big portion! Good chips. Tried the sausages another occasion and they are also excellent. Lovely staff, quick service.

This place sells the best fish and chips in Cleethorpes maybe even the UK! So many different options of fish, with your traditional haddock or cod you get to choose skin on/off. The staff are ever so friendly and welcoming. Dining in is a great idea, especially if the weather isn’t good outside. Otherwise I do like to take my cod and chips down by the beach . If you’re looking for the freshest tastiest fish and chips. Get down to Ocean Fish Bar! You will not be disappointed. See you again soon!

Just dropped in and was met with a lovely welcome. Had the regular haddock, chips and mushy peas and it was generous, hot and very tasty. The staff were helpful and very efficient and made us feel valued. I’d add a photo but I made short work of it!I live in a great area for fish and chips and this was a good one!
