Pear Tree in North East Lincolnshire

There was a group of 10 of us only a few of the group was local we ranged from Boston Scunthorpe and Hull.The staff were very attentive and helpful. Starters, main and deserts were had and all arrived together no one was waiting for food and there was adequate time between each course. Burgers, roast and belly pork was had for main all was enjoyed bar the belly pork however overall the food was beautiful and enjoyed by all.The only issue we found really was that we couldn't pay individually for food had, which almost all establishment can cater for know especially when there is a large group although this didn't damped the lovely time we had in your restaurant. Overall very clean, nicely laid out, food was great and staff were lovely, if every back in Grimsby I would visit again and would recommend.

I can not say anything bad about this pub. Since mark has taken over the atmosphere and food is outstanding. We are local and we stop going due to the last couple who was running it. I wouldn't of even given it a one star with the last owner but I would give it 5 star plus now.... Mark and his staff are a credit to this pub. All staff are amazing !!! Since mark has been running it we have made it our local again and we go all the time and the standards never drop, it's like our first visit everytime. Xxx

Good service, good choice with options for healthier selections which was good to see. The price seemed a little high but with the 2 for 1 on main meals this is no problem when you get the bill and kids prices are very good for the portion size. Will definitely be back.

Friendly and attentive staff who were efficient and quick, going above and beyond to make our visit a pleasant and memorable one. The Pear Tree is a nice place in a good setting, food and drink choices are varied to suit and cater for all tastes and for any allergies you may have. Recommend a visit, either just a drink and sociable gathering, or a nice sit down meal at a reasonable price for everyone including two for one deals

We were very well looked after, with friendly, attentive staff. We wore masks to the table, and felt safe. Drinks were brought quickly, as was the food, which we enjoyed. The lady who tended our table was chatty and very pleasant. We shall go again. The reduction of 30% on the meal also helped!

My family took me for a birthday suprise meal and the food was excellet and the staff friendly helpful and efficent and the food was quick service 🙂🍺☕🍷

Had the most amazing dinner. Staff were amazing would come back again. Been to a lot of places and I have given the review that suits were I have been so people think I'm to criticism. But for the food here 5 star the staff 5 start could do enough thank you

Impressed that we were asked to gel hands and take our own disposable menus. Was disappointed that staff weren't wearing a face covering. There was 5 of us, main meal was lovely, especially the steak. The deserts were disappointing, apple pie had just been microwaved and it had made the pastry soggy. Service good. Have been several times before but it was the nicest meal we've had there

Had a lovely meal here today with my brother and his family. Very nice. Super gluten free stickie toffee pudding. Wouldn't have know it was gluten free if our lovely waitress hadn't told us. My brother has to have gluten free. But I loved mine too.

Called in on way home from shopping about 1400 on a MondaySome things had run out on the menu no more specials board just the minimum usual stuff on the menuSteak. burgers .fish etc etcWe both had a burger it didnt take long to be cookedThe burger bun was very small the burgers were over hanging came with chips and a dipIt tasted very nice I was offered salt and vinegarGlad it was 2 for 1 on main mealsNot sure if it was worth £15 + eachBefore the covid I came alot to this establishment but sorry to say it's not as good as it wasThe lady waitress that served us had gone after she had took our order another member of staff served us afterFood was nice but hopefully in the future the menus will have more choice and specials board may return along with the katsu chips
