Sea Lane Fisheries in North East Lincolnshire

We have visited Sea Lane Fisheries on many occasions. We decided to go there for our Good Friday Fish & Chips before heading down to the yacht club.The standard of food is not very consistent here. Sometimes is is really great but unfortunately on this particular visit the batter was really chewy and the fish overcooked. Chips and condiments were great. Just the fish was a let down. But it was on Good Friday probably the busiest day of the year.If you visit your are quite often queueing for a while and car parking can be a bit of a pain. There is extra parking at the rear of the building and you can park on the side streets and take a very short walk to the shop.We will visit again but it's not my favourite chippy in the area.

Quick service, nice fish and chips for lunch. Curry sauce was tasty too. Thanks.

My pal and I had haddock chips and I had mushy peas he had curry sauce, this came with a cup of tea or coffee plus bread and butter, we both had a hard time finishing it so much!!!! 👌🍵👏

Me and my partner and daughter went for fish and chips yesterday and I got a fish cake and chips that’s all I had eaten through the day and I got food poisoning. I was up all night with chronic stomach aches hot and cold sweats and had a bowl ready as I was feeling sick all night. I always rated this chip shop so I very disappointed.

Enjoyable fish was good chips fine service excellent, bit too much Sait for me but the family was fed and nothing left over.

This used to be first class , we had poor food from there last year so stopped going and today gave them another try. It is worst fish I have tasted in a long time, dry and so thin fillets , will definitely not be returning

Great sized portion of fish and chips. Very tasty. Only small down side, the fish still has the skin on and there's egg in the batter. They are just personal preferences though not criticisms.

Found a STONE inside my fishcake!! How does that happen?!

Not bad fish and chips. The wife likes the fishcakes.... and believe me, she is very fussy when it comes to fish shops. Tried two different pies. I don't think they make them, so can't blame them....but why, why do they have to put tons of salt in them..... ruined it for me.

Always really nice, fresh, haddock. If the chips were cooked a little longer so they were browner it would be perfection for me. One of the best around
