Seaway Restaurant in North East Lincolnshire

Used to be really good but tasteless fish and poor quality chips for £7-50! Won’t go again. No wonder Papas on the pier are queuing out the door for takeaway and half hour wait for a table!

Absolutely disgusting food,the fish was definitely not haddock,it tasted awful and off. How can a fish shop get fish so wrong? Greasy fish,over priced for the standard of food that was served. Staff member behind counter very rude and no customer skills asked if all was ok.we said no the food was awful,she then turned around and ignored us. Will never eat there again

Bad service, child's portions! A complete rip off will not be returning....This used to be my favourite chip shop but now set up to rinse the holiday makers while giving them as little food as possible ....a small fish does not mean you have to serve kiddies chips in a child's tray! Sausages with next to no batter on...that's what they're all like apparently.....stop scrimping and serve your customers some quality food and you might not have the worst rating on trip advisor!! So disappointed after returning to live in Grimsby and being served this rubbish...

Seaway Restaurant is obviously fish and chips. I located near to the beach. I try many of them when I was visiting Cleethorpes but this is the best one. Food really good, had a coffee and tea and are very good. Fast service. Prices? Same as every else. Highly recommend that place to eat and have nice time . Good place for kids and families.

Food was fresh and hot. Ordered scampi which should have come with salad but they'd run out. Staff were pleasant. Restaurant looked like it had been busy during the day as there was lots of food under several tables - not the cleanest it's been, and we've visited numerous times - so dropped a star due to cleanliness.

Disappointed with the fish and chips today, been coming to cleethorpes for years and always go to seaways for dinner. Usually they're lovely but today they just weren't up to their usual standard. We actually thought they weren't open at 1st, all doors closed and couldn't see anyone inside.

I have been here a few times before and mostly recently last year very nice fish n chip shop take away great staff and very good fish n chips sausages and chips wrapped up well served well and at great prices too. Would definitely recommend

We should have known better when we saw all the cooked fish piled in the warmer. Would not recommend the fish just didnt seem fresh. What a waste of £7.50!

Poor quality and poor customer service. After queuing for 20 minutes, asked for them wrapped with salt and vinegar, lady looked at her colleague and shook her head. No please and thank you from the cash lady. Shoved a carrier bag to me. I shoved it back. The smaller lady with glasses who served was polite though. Monday 3/1/22 afternoon.

The staff looked moody and miserable and smelled of rotting fish inside badly. Ordered chips to takeaway but found they tasted awful and felt sick after having a couple. I ended up giving the rest to the seagulls.
