Excellent stay at the Humber Royal Hotel.Helpful staff, lovely clean, equipped stylish rooms.I’ve just had a roast Sunday Dinner which rivals any I’ve had - very highly recommended 👍👍

Terrible service and food not great either. Nobody seemed to have a clue what was happening and who was doing what. Constantly asking staff what was happening and at one point we joked about clearing our own table just to get things moving. Food that came out was wrong or missing and because it took so long those of us that was hoping for deserts gave up. Maybe okay on a normal day but for a special event like Mothers day it was totally ruined and will definitely not be returning. 1 star given and that was for the big table and nothing else.

If i could rate this place 0 stars I would. Nothing was good we got there at 2:30pm and waited till 4:00pm to eat, we even had to ask when the food was coming. Asked them to take our plates away and only took 2. The manger was no where to be seen! The dinner didn't even fill us up and went home starving, the staff didn't come up to us ONCE. All the meals went up in price for mothers day. The fact that they added an extra drink on our bill as well. I am 13 and was very disappointed would not recommend.

Two and a half hours with two children 4 and 6. Oh dear what a nightmare. Also wrong food delivered to 6 of us?? Needless to say we cancelled desserts. Will not be returning. Ps no apologies or explanation!!!

It was OK. I could not have a bath as the plug did not work. The toilet was constantly dripping in the cistern. The radiator did not work and the room was freezing. I fedback to the team and they were going to fix it.On the plus side the the food was nice, the bed was comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I did enjoy my stay.

Such a nice hotel, looks a bit like an office block on the outside but it's really nice on the inside. Can't ask for much more!. Saying that the tvs in the bedrooms could be more modern with apps like Netflix etc. Great for contractors as there's a huge car park with cctv outside. Would definitely stay again when next in the area.

The bar service was the worst experience of my life, and I am not young, the girls had not been given training and did not even know what a tonic water was, stood staring into the air while the queue at bar was 3 deep, the food was reasonable with some assemblance of organising.

Day staff receptionist was very friendly. Had a superior room but it was not comfortable at all. Had a funny smell in the room. On check in night receptionist was more bothered about function guests than actually letting hotel guests know about the facilities etc. Was very very disappointed.

·

Room paint scheme uninspiring and looks very 70's, albeit clean. Staff friendly, breakfasts not cheap at £11.50 (2021), but good selection. Rooms not cleaned especially well in my case over 2 weeks. Rooms can be noisy especially near the function room. Best also to get a room as high up and as far away from lift as possible!

We would like to thank everyone at the hotel for making our dad's funeral luncheon so memorable and our stay in your rooms so comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. You were so helpful and attentive. The breakfasts were so good and the brasserie meals were delicious - and great value. We are really grateful for your attention to detail and your kindness.
