Terrible... I think someone got the gravy and coffee granules mixed up. The gravy tasted of strong coffee!! Nothing else to add...

Super fish and chips at amazingly reasonable prices with wonderful friendly staff. The chips were perfect and the fish was super fresh and very tasty.

Terrible excuse for a chippy. I only went here because there was a 1 hour queue for papas and didn't feel like waiting, you'd think a place on a seafront could handle a simple chips and curry sauce but no...I knew I was in for letdown when I saw them bring the chips out of the fryer minutes after putting them in, they looked anemic and were undercooked as they were still hard when eating them. I spotted the containers of curry sauce ready mix in the back after ordering which was the nail in the coffin I think. The bin enjoyed them, at least after a few taster attempts from me. Seriously, just sell up and go do something else as you clearly don't care in the product you're selling, likely as you know you won't see most patrons again out for a daytrip.

Appalling chip shopNo social distancing at allThe portions are minute and the chips was literally brown as being very over cooked.Avoid at all costs there are miles better chip shops around cleethorpes than this

As a local ive tried every chip shop in the area is this one is by far outstanding. The fish chips and mushy peas where amazing. The que was out the door but there a was very fast service. I couldn't help but notice that the staff on the fryers kept washing thier hands every time they stepped away from what they were doing. Brilliant.

Had a very short visit to Cleethorpes, a friend said there was a great fish and chips shop close to the train station The first thing I could smell was the amazing aromas coming from there. I wasn't particularly hungry so just asked for a fish cake (which turned out to be home made) and a small chips. Both were amazing. I liked the traditional look of the cafe and the view of the sea front was great. Prices very reasonable. I will be back there in August this year

This restaurant is on the North promenade in Cleethorpes alongside the Railway station, and has good views of the Pier, beach and the Humber estuary. The building is fabulous and dates back to the Victorian era,it may even predate the Pier. The restaurant itself is warm clean and well lit with fixed tables and chairs, there's also some bench style seating outside. The menu is basic, the classic seaside staples, Fish wise a choice of Cod or Haddock. Eat in or takeaway the price is the same.I went for Haddock, chips and peas, a short wait before receiving a good portion of chips and decent mushy peas, the fish wasn't huge but it was really fresh, good quality and cooked perfectly, delicious.(a poor quality piece of fish doesn't get better through cooking or by being large). At just under ยฃ6.00 good value.Everything comes on a polystyrene tray with a plastic fork here definitely no frills. If you're looking for a fancy menu and all the frills this place won't suit, however if you want good quality fish and chips served by friendly staff give it a try, I enjoyed my visit, and meal. The Wheelchair access isn't the best but achievable and the ends of the tables are open so could easily accommodate a wheelchair. There's no table service here, however I felt assistance would be given if required. It also has no restrooms of its own however they are some available on the station next door, including disabled facilities.A really good traditional British, family friendly Fish and chip shop. This place gets very busy during the holiday season. They have a 5***** food hygiene rating.

Absolutely disgusting. Prices over rated. Ask for a mini fish and chips. I knew it was too g to be small it didn't expect 6 chips and dry fish. My niece had chips and chicken nuggets ยฃ2 for 6 nuggets. So over priced and food was not nice at all. I usually go to the chip shop on the main road. But decided here. Wish I hadn't!!Avoid avoid avoid
