A big thank you to all the staff. We took some of our residents for afternoon tea. It was lovely the staff were superb and nothing was to much trouble. Our residents thoroughly enjoyed it. We all left with cake boxes as we did not have enough room to eat it all... will be going again

Used to be a wonderful little cake stop, can't help but feel a little underwhelmed today. Visited with my grandma at her request (we've been before and she loved it). There was a sign informing us that there would be no food available between 1-2pm, fair enough. We arrived at 12.30 and the waitress was happy to assist us. She took our order and it arrived quickly. We had lattes but they were very milky and I'm not sure there was much coffee in there. I ordered a jacket potato with brie and cranberry. The potato was well cooked and there was plenty of filling, though it might have been nice to have the brie warm , instead of cold from the fridge.Grandma had a cheese scone which came with cream and jam. This was a bit confusing (does anyone have cream and jam with cheese?!) but apparently it didn't taste of cheese anyway, so the cream was quickly slathered on.Our waitress was lovely but it was a little disappointing to hear some other staff moaning about the larger table that was due later on. One waitress was clearly not looking forward to the party and almost resented the table arriving. She definitely didn't love her job.Not bad, but a few tweaks would make it much better.

I hadn't been since its latest refurbishment. Very nice, felt secure, plenty of space between tables. Caused some havoc when I went to the wedding. Its for the disabled too. My friend had said the toilet flush was on the side and I patted everything and in the end pulled the cord which of course set an alarm going. The flush is on the side of the toilet!! I'll definitely be going again, friendly staff. Might need to take a cushion, the seats were a bit hard.

Great place to grab some wholesome food and drinks. A really relaxing place to visit.18th Dec 2018: Craft fair on until 4pm. Great selection of hand crafted local products and a great selection of stocking fillers perfect for Christmas. Don't miss out.Would highly recommend this place to everyone.
