Lovely food and lovely staff, everyone was so kind from the moment we walked through the door till we left. The place was lovely and clean. We came in for bottomless brunch and it was so worth the money! Continues Prosecco coming to our table! My glass was never empty! The vibe of the place was lovely from the decor to the people and had a very welcoming feel, I had the fruit waffles and honestly they were the best I have ever had! My partner had the classic breakfast, and my friend and her partner also had the same! Everything was piping hot and tasted amazing the place was super busy but all the staff were so attentive making sure we had everything we needed and ensured our visit was worth while! Safe to say you have got yourself some new regulars! Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Jess and her team are so lovely and really made us all feel so welcome! Thanks again guys!

Shocking service. Waited over 1 hour for food when we were told after 40 mins it'd be out in the next few minutes. 1 person from our party had finished their meal before the other 4 people had got theirs. Disappointing to say the least. Food not great for the price either.

Always enjoyed meals at the rose until Tuesday night this week. Staff were grumpy meals were aweful . Requests ignored and spoiled our get together.Things missing off our meals which were on the menu, staff just shrugged. Just so disappointing. Couldn’t make the excuse they were busy as it was very quiet. Won’t be going back for a good while .

2.5 stars. Whilst we all enjoyed our meals sadly the slow service detracted from the overall experience. We arrived at approx. 18:45 to what was a more or less full looking restaurant and ordered just after 19:00. Unfortunately from there it took just over an hour to serve our starter (2 X bowls of sharing nachos) after we queried the lengthy wait. The mains did at least follow in a reasonable time.Someone (manager/senior?) did come and apologise to the table citing our arrival at the end of a busy dinner service as reason for our wait, although by the time we were served our food the restaurant was probably 50% occupancy. We were given complimentary desserts by way of apology too.Observing generally food didn't seem to flow from the kitchen at a great pace, however to their credit they didn't let the pressure compromise on quality. I had the mixed grill, one of the best mixed grills I've had in some time. The steak (I upgraded to sirloin) was a little more cooked than I would have preferred but subjectivity allowed this was perfectly acceptable. It was also a very nice piece of meat, far better than I would normally have expected for a pub-grub mixed grill. The other members of our party all enjoyed their respective meals too.Overall the meal was most enjoyable albeit slow service this particular night was the main detractor. Given the quality of the meal I would still be willing to visit again in the hope of a more positive experience.

Lovely staff. Menu was a bit dull but the food was as described. Cannot say more for the man with he ear tunnel who served us and the lady who was on with tattoos. Lovely people

Definitely one of the most pleasant places to eat and drink in Grimsby, the place is a joy to sit in with attentive happy staff and an overall chilled out ambiance with a price that will will leave you gobsmacked! I would bring my friends, children or grandparents here with no worries of anybody feeling out of place.

We had a table booked but as soon as they saw our group had someone using a walking aid, they immediately offered a more accessible table for us. Service continued to be excellent and staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was really tasty, cooked well and good portion sizes. Had a wonderful time.

Went for a family meal on New year's day. Service was fantastic, very friendly staff. Food was lovely, came out in good time even though it was quite busy. We were seated next to a coal fire which was lovely. Will definitely return.

I had a awesome time and the manager Jess was very accommodating/welcoming. The guy on the bar Chris was very friendly and made us feel right at home.

Lady behind the bar greeted us like she was fed up,no smile, we had booked a table and was told it's over there with a vague arm gesture.Found our table ourselves after some searching.Being a Sunday I ordered a roast beef dinner, the roast potatoes and the parsnips were overcooked and hard to cut and eat.We had a QR code for a free bottle of Prosecco which we intended to bring home unopened as had already ordered drinks, was told no it must be opened now. Also we kept our jackets on as did other customers maybe heating faulty. Probably won't go again as other restaurants nearby with nicer food and pleasant staff.
