Toven's Cafe in North East Lincolnshire

6 of us went 2 adults and 4 kids and while the kids seem to eat it they did say it was partly due to being hungry and it was ok at best. My own food was garbage and didn't eat it. Chicken was warmed up from the night before I think as had a very old taste. And tables were sticky as anything to the point we had to wipe them clean. Staff seem to want to please but seem to forget a lot of things even though they wrote them down then twice tried to charge me an extra 10 pound even though I pointed out it was 17.50 and not 27.50. safe to say I won't be returning any time in the near future

Went in today 2 adult's 4 kid's, youngest child needed highchair which was absolutely filthy ,tables were very sticky and obviously not cleaned regularly,we then proceeded to start cleaning everything ourselves, cafe in general just looked grubby like it could do with a deep clean , I take it they have regular customers tho as we were getting look's like we wasn't welcome as we wasn't regulars ,I just got that feeling , my meal teh scampi which was on the special's board really wasn't that special at all very basic , other adult said chicken was awful and he couldn't possibly finish it as it tasted re heated , only positive is staff seemed nice enough,we won't be visiting again.

I ordered Sunday dinner for myself and cheese burger and chips for my son waited a hour and a half to come it was awful my son's was dripping in grease and mine well I wouldn't have served it to the dog will not be ordering again

Tables were sticky and needed cleaning We were served by an older lady who did not seem to care if she served you or not Certainly not service with a smile Food after a wait was passable but the order was wrong and she was not happy about changing it when I refused to accept it The young lady that was working there was lovely and friendly and trying her best to please customers

Lovely cafe,very good prices,nice menu,we had coffees and sandwiches, chicken and cheese barbecue roll,excellent, also very polite ladies.A perfect place to eat after walking on the beach

Ordered from uber eats. The food took just under 2 hours to be delivered. Won't be ordering from them again.

Over 2hours before order arrived and got given a drink for the wait.But the shop/manager wouldn't answer phone calls or talk about any sort of refund, would never go here again, worst service

Just had a Sunday roast delivered to the caravan & it was worth every penny,fresh vegetables lots of meat & gravy plus the stuffing & potatoes,highly recommend

Food was good quality and I did enjoy it, however not what I would expect for the price I paid (small portions). My custard on the chocolate flapjack was cold. Overall nice food but wouldn’t order again, not good value for money.

We ordered a breakfast and large sausage bun for delivery. It arrived early but with no sausage in the bun. We were refused a refund as it wasn't their fault due to the writing on the receipt being too small! Ridiculously rude service
