Lovely view of the River with plenty of outdoor seating. Carvery was beautiful.

Nice to sit out by the river, and were made to feel welcome, even though we're not local. Some good beers to choose from too!

Closed during the week but open at the weekend. Plans are in hand to open a tea shop and extend the opening hours. Very pleasant landlord. Good (steep) walk up the hill with views of the Trent.

First time we have been, definitely won't be the last. Lovely setting and atmosphere overlooking the river. Fish and chips best I have had, huge fish and home cooked chips. Chicken pie was gorgeous too. All home cooked. Desserts were to die for. Such a hidden gem.😋

Pate for starters and Venison Pie for mains. Delicious. This pub has a large garden overlooking the Trent which would be a great spot for outdoor dining if May 21st had not been so grey and cold

We had our daughters wedding reception there and it was wonderful. We were only allowed 15 guest so it was intimate and the ambiance was lovely . The setting outside is beautiful with the huge weeping willow right next to the river. The owner and her staff were amazing, nothing was any trouble at all. It was simple but warm and inviting. Even the locals in other part of the pub were nice and amicable 🤗

A very warm welcome, and well kept beers. The owner really cares about his reputation and it shows.

Fantastic setting. Child and dog friendly, lovely staff working both bar and restaurant. So relaxed, it really is the best pub in the area.

True country pub beside the river. Food great. Rib eye to die for. Friendly locals and staff. Excellent!! Brilliant sunsets. Well worth a visit.
