Gills vintage tea room in North Lincolnshire

Had the sweet afternoon tea. Great selection of sweet and savoury items and really good value for money. Would highly recommend. Lovely tearoom aswell 😊👍

Server was choice, and my friend had a cake cut from a bacon slicer. Thought lovely environment, plenty of rustic, empty tables to be filled, shows why the price was a bit steep.

Wonderful tea room fabulous cakes, really friendly staff that care about your experience. Nothing is too much trouble definitely recommend a visit.

A lovely tearoom. They offer a variety of home make cakes, scones and savoury dishes and served using vintage style crockery. The servers are very helpful and the food is served in a timely manner. Afternoon tea is available when pre-booked, however there is no dairy free alternatives. I was offered something different (prawn salad) which was really good quality and a good portion size. The afternoon tea comes in different sizes. Previously, everyone (the group mainly consisted of the same people) ordered the larger option but took a look of it home and opted for the smaller one on the second visit.Not everyone is served the same cake and the servers are very amenable to change the cake or scone type brought if it's not to the person's taste. The sandwich filling is pre-order. There is unlimited standard coffee and tea refills, however speciality teas (e.g. Earl Grey) and hot chocolate are additional and they will still serve you your alloted tea/coffee.A pleasant and rather filling afternoon.A final note, there is no parking directly in front of the place but a 5 minutes short walk from the carpark behind the Bluebell Pub. This is free for 2 hours week days before the charges start and no ticket needed at the weekend. Beware of parking in Sainsbury's across the road as many people have been caught and fined.

Lovely place for afternoon tea everything is fresh and prepared by a team of lovely ladies theres a choice of sandwiches on your stand as well as cakes the lemon Cake is lovely , the scones with the cream n jam are simply yummy !! The quiche the coleslaw all very nice . If you can't eat all what's on your cake stand they box it up for you to take home ,it's very clean and staff are very attentive and friendly . ...can't wait to go again.

Great food, especially for vegans. There was such a variety on my tea/cake stand! You can't see it in the photo, but the buttery swirl at the back of the second tier is a chocolate cupcake!
