Not sure how people give this place such a high rating. We had a mixed grill and it was shocking. All the meat was so dry . Won't be going back

Been a while since we've been here, lovely to it's the same owners. Food still as good. Huge serving of food. Thankfully some things don't change.

Excellent home cooked food, all fresh locally sourced vegetables very tasty, well worth a try you will not be disappointed.

Always has and slways will be a great place for food. Been going every now and again for years now. Disappointed in the fact that Yorkshire puds were heated from frozen and the chicken wasn't its best but still overall good staple food and affordable.

Used many times before, always been a fantastic meal. First time being since before Covid. Meal quality is much reduced. Meat was a bit fatty, frozen Yorkshire pudding, slow service. Probably won’t go back again for a while.

Service was with a smile, even with face masks on. The place was clean and welcoming. Tables well spaced. Atmosphere was pleasant. A proper family pub environment. Food was great and the portion size was more than acceptable as was the price. Thanks for having us, even on short notice.

Excellent meal, which was a carvery it had a choice of chicken, ham, beef or a trio of Lincolnshire sausages. You get a choice of meat which arrived with a Yorkshire pudding which melted in the mouth. The selection of vegetables to choose from carrots, suede mash, cabbage, peas, mash potato, roast potatoes, a selection of sauces & gravy. Service was good and food cooked to perfection, cost was reasonable for what you can have.
