Great day the weather was very very hot it would be good to have a cold water drinking point half way.

We came to this course today and were not disappointed. It was well organised given that there was a golf society playing a round. We had to go from hole 14 onwards which didn't pose a problem. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the round, food and drink were very reasonable in terms of price. The fairways were in great condition and would say they were very forgiving in terms of width and the rough wasn't too bad either. The condition of the greens I would say were average for the time of year but hopefully they will improve as the year goes on. Having said that, they were running pretty well for putts. The views are lovely all around the course. If you are a parkland fan then you'll love this course. Overall, brilliant day and will definitely come again.

One of my favourite golf courses in this area which I have played numerous times over recent years. Always found it to be very well looked after and the staff and other members to be really welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be back in the near future, can't recommend this course highly enough!

Our first visit to the course. Signage could be improved as we managed to play the wrong hole but the helpful members put us right. The greens were very slow but there had been heavy rain the night before. We were impressed at the friendliness of the members who let us play through and asked how our day was going. As other people have said a bit of investment and this could be a wonderful facility. However it won't put us off another visit.

(ignore the z in my name) I find it sad to see such a stunning local course with so much potential being ran terribly. The atmosphere is dying and there is no golf pro or ladies/junior section/offers in place. The green fees are too expensive for a 14 year old with no source of income apart from parents. No discounts and one fixed membership for adults only at £600+! It is £62.50 to get a membership at Normanby so they'll have to try harder to reach out and market their course (no website or social media atm) and make it welcome not only members but other people in different circumstances.It is a shame because it is a beautiful course and anyone who wants to play it will certainly not be let down by the quality and design. I personally can't afford the full adult green fee price and would rather spend that money at a different course.Still highly recommend to anyone apart from kids/teenagers.

Golf course has been ruined by allowing play on waterlogged and frozen fairways. Will be months before it recovers, save your cash

Visited the course on Thursday 6th February, and was most disappointed, yes we have had a hell of alot of rain but for the course to let green staff go and cut greens and fairways in machinery which has distroyed the majority of greens and fairways it beggars belief. Why people were allowed on holes was completely beyond me as a good percentage of fairways were saturated and half the greens looked like a speedway track, rest be assured this course will not look as it did when we played it in the summer for a long time yet.

Enjoyed our game Course in good condition and offered an excellent challenge. Disappointed that no improvements have been made to clubhouse for changing showering and relaxing after golf. Won't stop me going back again.
