Market Place Fish & Chip in North Lincolnshire

Guessing fish is frozen as it's watery and tasteless. Very disappointing.

The women serving me was rude when I asked for two orders then proceeded to give one order and when I asked for my second order she was getting cocky and funny saying I didn’t tell her my second order when I clearly stated what I wanted.

This chippy has been hit and miss for sometime on how good the food is. I recently got fish chips and mushy peas, the fish folded in half as the women was putting it in the paper wrapping, it didn't look good. The fish was mushy, the chips mushy and the peas that should be mushy were hard!! I would go as far to suggest the fish was saithe a cheaper alternative fillet of fish similar looking to cod. I binned the lot, I won't be going anymore now, AVOID there are better chippys in barton.

Im very much of the unbending opinion that only the Brits know how to cook fish and chips, this holds true with this joint, they do a fairly effective job here, though Ive always found the chips bland, veg oil, no beef tallow as they should be-also service with a snarl. Enough to put me off anyway. It is however very clean.

A most popular fish and chip takeaway for many reasons. Ease of parking and access, fast service, fresh cooked fish, quality frying, great homemade pies and more.

Marvellous fish cooked in a lovely crisp batter. Generous portions. Great cheery service. Very clear guidance about how to be safely distanced in and around the shop during these pesky covid-19 times. I recommend them!

Well I think this is the best Chippy in Barton upon Humber. You will enjoy your take away whatever you have. The staff are very friendly and helpful. 5 star food provider.

Visited here tonight and was very impressed. Lovely fresh haddock and heaps of tasty chips. We will definitely be back.

Used this chip shop for a few years now. Best fish around and portions are amazing. You can always park somewhere nearby if outside busy.

Food is really good, we love going for the food. The staff aren't always the most pleasant. They seem unhappy if you ask for something to order like Cod. They never seem to offer salt and vinegar either, which is also unusual for a fish and chip shop.
