Normally I like this cafe as I live only 2 minutes away but I MUST say somthing after todays, let's say lack luster experience. To start with the place was quiet, maybe 3 other diners but the cue at the till was around 6 people long and nobody was out front. We was all stood there for about 3-4 minutes before anybody noticed. Then when everyone was noticed instead of an apology or any reassuring comment all got was essentially told off for not using the machine to order. Normally I would but we had cash and it doesn't take cash but the angry look we got was awful. That was then taken out on us in my opinion by the food we was served. I ordered toast and eggs. Normally very good. This time the eggs were majorly overdone and the toast was literally black charcoal. Completely unacceptable customer service today. Staff is so rude, dont expect any customer service from this place.

Yesterday the sevice was horrendous hardly anything available, Mmm it's a cafe is it not, seems like they want it clisex down, always understaffed and staff seem under pressure, the food ordering point is a joke

Staff very reluctant to help any customers and rudely sent all customers asking to be served to the order point. Most tables full of dirty plates. Food was good though.

Came in for food. Sent to a machine to order. I explained that I have a lot of allergies. Staff very unhelpful, bordering on rude. Ended up with a black coffee.

Just popped to Morrisons cafe Scunthorpe to order breakfast with my sister and niece, was greeted by a large queue at the entrance to order on the screen, I bypassed the queue and went to the till as I'm allergic to egg and dont like black pudding or mushrooms, there was one man on the cafe floor cleaning tables, I asked if I could be served at the till and he was quite rude in telling me no no no u have to use the screen, I said could I please just explain something and proceeded to tell him my situation and he said there was nothing he could do about it and to order at the screen, we all left as I was quite concerned my food would come in contact with egg and there was also no option to swap my food for other items.

Went on a Sunday morning. Breakfast which was fresh and tasty. There was only one server and I felt he was over worked. If you are an NHS worker then you get to enjoy free tea. Overall, a decent place!

Very nice staff good food would recommend

Honestly rubbish. Ordered a panini and it came out without a salad. Waitress snapped at me when I mentioned it was supposed to come with one and when a salad did arrive, there was no dressing and just slammed down in front of me by said same staff member who stormed off.Panini was bad too. Chewy, rubbery and greasy bread, barely any cheese and the tuna inside stone cold.Just go across the road to McDonalds or buy a sandwich to go. Avoid the cafe.

Today 2pm ish I decided to have a breakfast which was a pound cheaper than usual. I've eaten here many times and had good food served. Today's food was dry hard slopped on plate in a mess. Rock hard inedible black pudding bacon and hash browns. The food was in a pool of fat. I ate the eggs(poached) on toast beans sausages which were taste less.. I asked a server if it would be possible to return the black pudding she brought me another slice out, which too rresmbled rock. I was in a hurry and left the dried up food on the plate. I will call in to speak to a manager tomorrow. Awful and disappointing food.

Food was nice but the tea pots could do with maybe at least been washed, picked one up from the tray which was ready for customers for it to be still half full of tea for the rest of them very stained.
