Great food ,great staff

I visited Mowbrays cafe at the weekend whilst visiting Haxey. The decor is cosy and modern and the staff polite and helpful. I ordered the sausage and egg sandwich which was amazing!! Four locally sourced Lincolnshire sausages and two runny fried eggs in a whole meal roll was a meal in it’s self. Fortunately I still had room for a slice of homemade Victoria sponge cake which was also delicious. I thoroughly recommend a visit to Mowbrays if you are ever in the area.

Enjoyed excellent takeaway coffee and cake here 2 days running while out cycling. Very well organised given the difficult circumstances with contactless payment and hand sanitizer available. A great friendly welcome too from the ladies! Nice to see a cafe making a real effort to continue trading and to provide customers with great food and a much appreciated service.

Great cafe! Very friendly owners! Beautiful food! Sausage rolls and brownies were delicious. Just a shame it's not on our regular cycling routes in Cheshire and North Wales! But cyclists, if you've not been here make a date to visit very soon!

Fantastic lunch here. Best quality coffee on the isle and had a very tasty sausage sandwich. Good fresh ingredients.
