This place is an absolute gem. Beautiful bar/restaurant, fantastic food and great service. There’s also an outdoor seating area with further seating near the canal side. I really can’t recommend this place highly enough. We’ll certainly be doing our bit to support them by working our way through their extensive menu and enjoying the Sunday carvery.

Absolutely amazing! From staff to dessert.Lovely atmosphere, tarter sauce homemade and stunning, I had the cheeseburger full of flavour could not fault, overlooking the trent its a lovely place for lunch on a nice day or cosy feel for dinner inside. The price is good for the quality of food.Would highly recommend and will definitely be back, will take pics next time! 😋😋😁

Our party attended for Christmas Day Lunch, it was absolutely gorgeous! There was soo much food and was all delicious. The staff worked hard to make sure our day was perfect. We would definitely spend Christmas there again in the future. Many thanks 😊

Went for a mid week treat. We were not disappointed, received a lovely warm welcome. The food was amazing,tasty and the chef really is very talented. Had to have dessert as cheesecake was on offer and this was really yummy..😋. Definitely a hidden gem and worth a visit

I have been to the Ferry boat a couple of times (through the week and at the weekend) and their food is amazing. Their steaks are done just how you like them, the Sunday meals are great and the service you get from the staff is second to none. The price of the meals is not the cheapest but certainly does reflect the quality of the food. I like that I can have a casual drink by the river (great views) or a drink at the bar before sitting down for a meal. The staff are friendly and always have a smile for you.

Wow. What an amazing place. The service and food is first class. Booked a table for four people and from stepping into the restaurant to leaving everything was brilliant. The food is excellent and all home cooked and very nicely presented. Thank you for a special night

First time here since covid restrictions lifted. Beautiful surroundings inside and outside. The staff were lovely and friendly. The food was delicious. So nice to see something other than vegetarian burgers on the menu for vegetarian/vegan customers.

Me and my friends visited for Sunday Lunch yesterday, the food was lovely and the service was great. We weren't waiting long at all, the food arrived hot and in a timely manner. We all had starters and mains, we found the prices very reasonable for the quality of the food. We will definitely be returning.
