Ordered the puff pastry pie of the day with creamy mash. Waited 50 mins for the wrong food to come , it came with chips, not mash and a cheap pie (not puff pastry) filled with cheap, fatty meat. The friendly waitress did offer to change the chips but i had waited so long i said to leave it. Awful food that is vastly overpriced.

Weve been here a few times for events, a wedding and a wake. The staff are all friendly, prices seem reasonable and the venue is clean and spacious. However there were no paper towels in either disabled toilet so you couldn't dry your hands. Be careful with the parking, it does cost and you can pay with coins or through an app, but if you pay through the app you don't get your refund and they charge you more.

Decor was nice but food less than average then when a dish turned up without chips after trying to order a side to be told the dish came with chips then asked if we wanted to order some and pay at the bar. Not good service nobody steering the ship

Great food and generous portions as well. I was fortunate enough to sit out on the terrace overlooking the Humber and bridge in the sun. Loved it.

Nice place with a good menu and friendly staff. Great views off the decking of the river and bridge. Reasonable prices. The only gripe is to sit outside on the deck they put your drink in a plastic cup, so the deck is littered with plastic cups that blow away. I'm 37 years old Karen I think I can have a beer in the sun on a workday without smashing my glass like a Viking when I've finished!

Revisited an old haunt after not been for a few years. Very impressed mid morning coffee out by the river side the sun was shining sea lapping up. The interior is very smartly furnished staff friendly fantastic location.

Sunday carvery , staff very pleasant and obliging. Food was fresh but could have been hotter, plates were cold which maybe didn't help. Lovely views over the Humber and the Humber Bridge .

Met some friends here yesterday for lunch. Not been here for 6 or 7 years. Really impressed with the decor, spacious and nicely furnished. The 6 of us all found our meals excellent. Staff were great. I had the chicken burger, very nice. Will definitely be back.

Not sure where to start here. We booked a table in the window a week ago. Turned up and table was already taken. Queue at bar was almost to the door. 2 bar staff working that were so slow. Wedding on at the venue and they were complaining that no service in their bar. Ordered food which, on a positive, arrived quicker than expected however only 5 of 8 meals turned up. Complained and remaining 3 arrived shortly after. We also received a refund for half the food. Food was good but overpriced. Tables were left uncleaned for 2 hours. Come on Country Park. Sort things out. Great pub in a great location but the service is appalling.

Not as nice as it used to be. They didn't have a coffee machine (their exact words) so had instant which was actually OK. Came for the steak which used to be stunning and served with vine tomatoes, balsamic dressed salad, flat mushrooms etc. It's still the same price but the quality is much reduced and the only Came with peas, a raw tomato and a couple of button mushrooms, though the chips were nice. Asked for ketchup and got 1 little sachet each. Even the atmosphere has changed and they turned the TV on very loudly just as our food came blasting football out, which ruined the meal for me as I can't stand football. Overall I won't be returning which is a shame as I was looking forward to the visit. There are much cheaper pubs offering the same closer to home.
