I attended a car show that was well organised and very relaxed. Breakfast was vegetarian at the cafe within the ropewalk. Absolutely excellent food. Overall a very enjoyable day.

Fascinating history to this 1767 building, at 4,000 yards long the longest listed building in Britain. Plenty of free parking, arts / crafts shops, performance space and a bistro, with an outside patio.

I loved the Ropewalk it was the first time I'd been to Barton-upon-Humber and I had coffee in the lovely cafe.Walked the whole of the Museum which was fascinating as to how rope was made. Then went in to the gift shop.I bought a gorgeous memento of my visit and at night I went to a concert in another part of the rope factory.A wonderful memory of a very interesting place.

What a great little intimate venue. My first visit to see a live act and both my wife and I were seriously impressed.Very modern whilst at the same time retaining its charm from yester- year and reasonable prices at the bar too.Apparently staffed by volunteers but very professionally run and we will certainly be back again.

Really enjoyed our visit, gallery is very interesting and the cafe was a real treat. Great food, well cooked and presented. Super tasty.

Beautiful art gallery and craft shop in a former rope making factory, with plenty of work available to buy from local artists. Sadly didn't get to sample the café on my first visit. Will definitely return

Not used the studios myself but those who I know use them seem satisfied.Cafe is a little dark, however the menu is good for snacks and reasonably inexpensive. Will visit again to check out what it has to offer other than cafe.

The scones were excellent. A pleasant cafe set in the old rope walk. Plenty of things to see and buy in the adjoining galleries, so a good stopping point before or after a walk around the nature reserve.

The very long old rope makers building houses a craft shop, popular cafe, art studios and a small museum. At the far end is Waters Edge Country Park, good walks around the ponds, woods and riverside. Only a few minutes from the Humber Bridge and well worth stopping by.

Free parking, nice coffee shop and restaurant with some outside seating under cover , two galleries , art shop , museum, and an interesting walk along Barton creek and the Humber foreshore. Something for everyone and a nice trip out.
