Asha in Richmondshire

Great restaurant with friendly efficient staff great prices and delicious food every time whether it is takeaway or sit in.

I visited here for the first time on Sunday. Me and my partner waited 50 minutes for our starter. We weren’t very impressed with the starter. We got a Korma and Tikka masala and they were nice.I’ve heard a lot of good things about Asha Tandoori but the service was not acceptable for an empty restaurant.

Disgusting Service And Food Mediochre !!My wife and I ordered takeaway food from Asha. On getting the food home the order was wrong and cold.My wife telephoned to complain and the service received was less than favourable.However, after my wife insisted that the order was put right, she had to make a further journey wasting already expensive petrol of a round trip of 4 miles.This establishment used to be good, but appears to be under new management, who do not give two hoots about customer service or the quality of food.I will not be frequenting Asha again !!Avoid and go elsewhere for a better service and food !!Date of visit: March 2022

We had a lovely meal here, doesn’t look much from the outside but the service and food were great! - Grace was great and she made sure we had everything we needed, she was friendly and very professional, this service twinned with the excellent food at a great price has ensured we’ll be back regularly!

Incredible restaurant, been eating here for over a decade and it never fails to deliver. Was worried about it during lockdown but the takeaways were just as lovely and it’s great to get back in and eat the delicious food. The staff are also incredible and remember their customers, as they’ve recognised me and my family all these years. Deserves a Michelin star tbh.

Absolutely fabulous. Food was delicious. The beer was just as good. My only comment is why do Indian restaurants not do proper fat home cooked chips instead of frozen fries anymore 🤔🤔.

Really lovely restaurant, nice and spacious. I thought the drinks were really reasonably priced and a great variety. The food was absolutely delicious and again an amazing selection to choose from. The staff were so friendly as well. Can't wait to go back there
