The girl with the nose ring serving needs to learn some customer skills, not at one time did she say thank you, good fish n chips spoilt by poor service

I arrived at 18h50 on a Sunday asking to eat in. Nice young employee checked with the older lady with the Geordie accent who wouldn't let me eat in as "they had to clean down the restaurant as it was closing soon." It was blowing a very wet gale outside and, as a visitor to Richmond rather than a resident, I left without ordering as I had nowhere to eat it.NB they shut at 8pm.Devastating and against all known norms of business and service. I was so looking forward to that meal.

Had fish & chips before going to Richmond Cinema. All freshly cooked, good portion size, friendly staff. Ordered haggis on arrival, ready in 10 minutes. Great local chippy. Keep up the good work

Rudest staff I have ever come across."Shall I do more gravy?""No just tell them we have no more."The gravy I got was lumpy, clearly old."Take that."As they handed me the bag of food I ordered. No thank you or come again.Expensive.

Perfect! Only had a small fish n chips, comes with a curry sauce. Lovely

Friendly staff who are obviously working hard to keep up with covid regulations.All the tables were cleaned and hand gel available for use. Our fish chips and peas were hot and tasty. A good cuppa in a nice big teapot! I was full but my husband managed mint choc chip ice cream which was refreshing. Would definitely recommend.
